  3. Went to extract the timber today from pontefract. Pulled into the big car park to find it full of white caravans... Had a chat with the new residents, they were quite chilled. Just asked me not to leave any mess or they'd get blamed. Offered them some firewood, but they said no one has a woodburner. Got a couple of loads out, but might wait a couple of weeks before collecting the rest. [emoji106]
  4. I sold my old dinosaw collection. I really regret it. [emoji51]
  5. It is if you cut the tree down , according to hmrc. [emoji106]
  6. That's an interesting point, I absolutely agree the conditions we live in have changed dramatically for the better during the 20th century. In the recording, Noam talks about how industrial towns were designed and filled, from the earliest part of the industrial "revolution" and how that model was refined over centuries. It's more interesting than an hour and a half of Hollywood [emoji106]
  7. I'd be very interested in your take on it, you're a sharp tack. [emoji106]

  13. If you believe you're not indoctrinated, it's working. This is reality.
  14. Velcro strap[emoji106] Sopping wet, couple of cardboard patches and a hole full of soil. It's the ones they wanted. [emoji849]
  15. I haven't time to make stuff right now, these are a guy who buys some slabs from me. [emoji106]
  16. That's not a bad idea, the ground is ridiculously uneven though and covered in stumps. Two legs good four legs better[emoji106]
  17. There's a steep embankment no machine would make it up without wrecking the place. The ground is really wet and soft too. Thought about winching, but no direct line of sight. Got a couple of strong lads though. The only reason I'm extracting firewood is the clients wood yard is 5 miles away, and a personal thing, I can't waste wood. [emoji106]
  18. When the architects have to have two 1" slabs of spalted wood by 8am today. (This was last night) [emoji51][emoji51][emoji51]
