Ever read any Huxley from the 30's Talks a lot about the impending war everyone is waiting for... The social recipe they had then wasn't that different to today's nationalism. China and Russia have expansionist agendas. Silk Road,sea ports,rail infrastructure from New Zealand to Ireland. America and Europe have weakened economically and politically. The EU is collapsing, and America has trump. Yeah. Interesting times... [emoji51]

Anyone else following the Chinese oil/gold currency play? It was tried before by a group of North African and middle eastern leaders. I've told this story before. But it makes me smile. Did a quote on a big garden, half a dozen semi mature trees, overgrown bay hedge and 30m of leylandei hedge to reduce. He asked for a price for each tree... [emoji848] And each hedge. Feeling generous I threw in the conny hedge for £50. Written breakdown of quote handed to client. Turned up at the job. Several tree surgeons were reducing the conny hedge. Client explains he had a better quote for the hedge. Then asks how much my quote will be reduced by. £50. He looks very surprised. Pulls out my quote. Face drops. I did the other trees for a decent price. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

Hi all, A good friend of mine has been telling me for years that I should engage with social media. And a while back I set up a YouTube acc to post videos on here. Anyhows about 2 weeks ago I finally agreed to try it out. He set up an instagram acc and a new YouTube channel. Connected them to my emails and many other things I really don't understand. But it's working. I'm getting inquiries in already. Being allowed to pick and choose trees standing in a forest is a real help. And if you pay a decent price... Years ago I made this, worked well on my 440 25" bar. Even built a 36" plymill for the 075. The only issue I found was the bar grips need sandpaper glueing on and it's a bit slow to change depth of cut. But it's just as clean a cut as any chainsaw mill. Oh and plywood wears out faster than aluminium.[emoji12][emoji106] [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
