  2. Amazing colour to that yew, And what a decent stem, [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  3. Put it on a pallet with a piece of plywood on top. Contact with soil, moisture and sun will damage it. [emoji106]
  4. Just laughed my tea down my chin. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji106]
  5. When are you bringing out Arbtalk t-shirts with names on for the regulars? [emoji106]
  6. Spoke to stihl uk. They reassure me the spares for the 880 will be available for at least the next ten years, probably longer. [emoji106]
  7. YouTube. It's a double edged sword though.
  8. Had a conversation with my stihl mechanic mate yesterday. Wasn't good. The 880 is no longer in production/we've stopped selling them in Europe. When the uk stock finishes, that's it. No more 120cc saws. Apparently there's 87 in stock in the uk. I've heard nothing about a replacement. And I have no reason to doubt what I've been told. Does anyone else know of a 120cc chainsaw manufacturer who deals with the uk?
  9. Go 70cc+ You'll be happier with the results. The 361/2 is not a great saw. And I'm a stihl fan. The husky 60cc range is better. But any 70cc saw will pull a 20-25" with ease. [emoji106]
  10. Any fungus around or near the base?
  11. Now that is a thing of beauty! [emoji3] What tonnage will the trailer hold? [emoji106]
  12. Had a guy over to buy a small cherry board. He insisted on paying extra as he was so pleased with it. So I gave him some small oak boards (offcuts). Now he wants 2 more cherry boards and a dozen serving boards. [emoji106] It's a great way of filtering clients. Be really nice and honest about pricing and quality. The good ones will come back. [emoji106]
  13. I'm starting to think farmers in Yorkshire are minted. I mean... How do you stop unwanted access to your field? With 8 feet of oak burr. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  14. That's epic looking Grain. Is that rippling? [emoji106]
  15. Make it heavy duty/over engineered, As you know logs get heavy easily. Watch out for shock loading, it will bend rails. [emoji106]
  16. I wouldn't buy a bandsaw without hydraulics. My biggest bottle neck in production is log moving/loading and cant flipping. It's why I have a bad back. Will be putting a jib crane in soon I hope. [emoji106]
  17. Still waiting stubby. [emoji12][emoji106]
  18. A mate of mine got done last night. Carpentry tools stolen from workshop near Emley. Any know who this is? Caught on cctv.
  19. Made this last night. Half kilo lean beef (trimmed) Salt Pepper Chilli Soya sauce (Anything else you like) Marinade and roll about in a bowl for half hour. Rinse all marinade off. (Important) Lay out between two tea towels and press gently to dry. Lay on wire rack Put in cold oven with fan on, Or place in front of desk fan. For 6-12 hours. It's done. [emoji106] For crunchy go about 5mm or thinner. For chewy go about 20 mm or more. I like it about 10mm. [emoji106] Whose got a tasty recipe for work snacks?
  20. When are going to start teaching climbing? I've got a guy who's going to need a top instructor in a few months. [emoji106]
  21. Anti drip spouts and combi cans. [emoji106]
  22. Change the spark plug ?
