    Im not a Tree Surgeon so don’t need to cart waste around. But even if I was with the extremely higher demand for firewood just now I really can’t see how it’s not worth carting back to the yard. Arb waste is a commodity that’s currently in high demand. Since those that are out with cap in hand begging for it has gone though the roof of late it would be prudent of those that generate it to expect a return on this sought after byproduct. Sales of green Arb waste have spiked on Facebay and Gumtree of late. It’s only going to increase, as it should. I don’t know if any other industry that does not have a buyer for its byproducts. Arb may be late to the game but I think 2022/2023 will be a game changer. And maybe Arb will start to climb out if the minimum wage pay banding.

    Sounds like an issue with the Indicator Stalk. I’d see about replacing it and see if that helps. Or see if there is any obvious damage around the column.

    Scabwoods amazing. It’s a free byproduct. It dries really fast and is easy to cut to size. I’m still cutting my way through a huge stack from the spring that’s bone dry. Im not even getting near the actual firewood I’ve been splitting this year.

    Grants do not cover the full cost. The cover a portion. The oxymoron of people on low incomes but also homeowners. 🙄 You are utterly clueless. Being on an “ample wage” is a lifestyle choice. A choice that requires a huge amount of time and effort to be in that position. Then you’re taxed accordingly. To then be denied the same funding as those who a to lazy or stupid to achieve anything in life is grossly unfair. If you’re a homeowner but chose the easy path in life you should have to pay the price for that. Not be rewarded. Again, you continually come across as a freeloading blagger who is utterly clueless.

    The brass necks displayed these days is unbelievable. I can only assume it aligns with the mollycoddled reliance on a whole raft of benefits and the entitlement that seems to come with it. I’ve said I’ll keep the in-laws and my sisters father-in-law in firewood for the rest of their days. Unless it’s family everyone else can either pay or pay in kind.

    I guess they’ll burn eventually 🤣 Ill happily give logs away, if they happily give an equal amount of time equivalent in return. Those that claim to be poor and unable to pay also seem very quick to turn their noses up at actually grafting for the logs. Funny that.

    I think he's after unprocessed Arb-waste. But still....... With everyone feeling the pinch I think the days of free logs is (hopefully) over.

    I also find this hard to believe. The standard needed to pass a driving test 20 years ago could almost be done with your eyes closed. The levels of stringency these days are eye watering in comparison. If you’re not using hyperbole then you really should have reported this driver.
