  1. We're already 2/3rds of the way into that already.
  2. I genuinely would prefer to see Boris back over the other lot, and thats on either side of the fence. Plus it would be comical to watch folk go into a total melt down. And why was he outted anyway? Because he had a beer during covid when even he knew it was a load of shite? If thats the case then get him back in.
  3. To someone that makes a living knee deep in shit being able to wire a plug puts you in the top end of electrical qualifications. 😁
  4. We vote for the Party and not the PM though.
  5. Are you the guy that was 'chopping' tree's down in a Motorbike Helmet and Leathers earlier this year?
  6. Depends on the size of the chunks really. If it’s narrower stuff I don’t bother but if I’m sliding in half meter, 4-5” diameter chunks of Oak I’ll not add them til it’s really going. I’ll imagine this is the Ops issue, treating dense hardwood like Birch, it’s chalk and cheese. Anyway, you’re in France, Oaks incredibly light in comparison to what we have here in Scotland. I imagine you could got that rubbish going with a couple of sticks and a bit of Moss.
  7. You really need to have a mix of firewood. Burning solely de se hardwood is always going to be a struggle. I tend to get my Stoves up to temp with Softwood, Birch, Cherry and get a nice bed of ash then start to introduce the denser hardwoods like Ash, Beech and Oak but still mix in the Softwoods and easier to burn hardwoods
  8. Shite in from the shite collector surely can only result in shite our however you look at it surely?
  9. There’s a lot of shite pouring all over this subform I’ll give you that.
  10. For someone that has absolutely nothing to do with the Arb World other than clean their Shitters it’s somewhat ironic that you post so much shite. 🤣
  11. I rent about 100 square meters of a barn/workshop with no power (but lighting) at my end but 3ph at the other end I can use now and again. And 100 square meters of hard standing for the grand total of £140 a month. 😁
  12. Like mine I guess? Two years in and shifted far less than Id have thought. Green as they come. Will just make new uprights at some point.
  13. Yup. Told him today I dont have live edged seasoned so its off the saw. Off the saw obviously carries a time premium, blah blah blah. Its kinda true as I have to go mill a fresh Oak Log, but still.
  14. Christmas season is upon us. Everyone and their dog wants something to hang their stockings off. Easy pickings this time of year.
  15. I suspect you're right. Got a guy asking for a green mantle with a live edge on it. 1.8m x 8" x 4". £350 off the saw.
  16. Ive milled a container of French Oak not to long ago. Its literally half the weight of Scottish Oak. Its also boring as hell. Fine for Sleepers though. How they can sell them for that money baffles me as well. A quick dickt over with a router and a sander and its £150-200 easy.
  17. What are you paying per Sleeper? Ive a bunch of Oak like this I could mill you for the right money.
  18. Plus 1 for the Makita 4300. It’s a cracking wee saw for Firewood.
