  1. So just take a piss on the stumps? Sounds easy to me?
  2. Sorry to hear that. If Im needing anything done you'll be the first person I call on. I'll also keep an ear out for anyone else needing anything done and tell them to stop by here.
  3. Working down in the the Congo we'd regularly stay at a fairly nice hotel over the river from the Airport and it was safe and secure, but if there was ever any uprisings they'd close the Bridge and we'd be stuck at the Hotel till it blew over. Some of the other lads where there when it kicked off and had RPG's fired at them and had to hide in the false ceilings. The last time I was there a madman from the Shetland Isles who was Hooker daft wanted to stay closer to where the hookers where downtown so as he was down a week before us and he changed our hotel from the safe and secure one with good food etc to an utter hell hole where we paid cash at a literal hole knocked in the wall and looked like Beirut back in the day. Hole in the floor where there was once a Shitter, if they even bothered installing one in the first place and a pipe sticking out the wall for a shower. Breakfast was Boiled Eggs and a bit of toast served by a local lad who wore high heels with the heel knocked off them. The nights was bloody scary with what seemed like Zombies milling around outside and not even a lock on our room doors. Could not sleep a wink. The mad Shetland lad was having the time of his life out drinking and whoring it up every night without a care in the world. Never ever wore a Jonnie either. Total Nutter.
  4. Dont tease me! been two weeks without it.
  5. I dont have an issue doing the job. It was more a post on the cheapo strimmer and if anyone has any experiance with them. Im in Norway just now so cant start till I get home.
  6. Out of interest this can be bought in the UK if you have deep enough pockets; Festool SSU 200 EB-Plus GB Universal Sword Saw, 240 V: Amazon.co.uk: DIY & Tools WWW.AMAZON.CO.UK Shop Festool SSU 200 EB-Plus GB Universal Sword Saw, 240 V. Free delivery on eligible orders of £20 or more.
  7. Thats very cool! Never seen anything like that before. Nothing a Chainsaw Mill Cant do Id expect though? But The Skilsaw one would be more stable Id assume and more freedom.
  8. What's so good about them?
  9. Its sheared below the flush.
  10. No idea, most likely sold to me that way. I guess it had two good bolts remaining and one over the last three years stripped its thread and the last remaining good one backed off slowly.
  11. Aint that the truth. Im hoping some homebrew penetrator (acetone and ATF4) will loosen them up and the left hand drill bit will bite and pull them out. We'll see. Had a V8 with Spark Plugs that could not have been changed in 20 years, in alloy heads. Galvanic corrosion had set in and the only thing that budged them was the homebrew penetrator. (kinky)
  12. Seen it on a few places as well. Im assuming as we have to footage he never died. Just had a nice eyebrow wax.
  13. Not got a lot of cash right now. Saving all my pennies for a new Heating system for the house. Most likely a Gassifier and buffer outside as recommended by someone on here. My Stihl is great, just out of action. The model ID has rubbed off so I dont even know what it is, but it handles everything I throw at it. The SGS comes with a 3 year warranty, I have a feeling it will be getting a few repeat calls.
  14. They're sheared under the flush. Ive got some left hand threads and some easy outs coming in the mail. Will have a play when I back.
  15. Well, whilst opening up myself for endless ridicule I ended up getting this; 52cc 5in1 Multi Tool Garden Set: Chainsaw Trimmer Strimmer Brush Cutter WWW.SGS-ENGINEERING.COM The all in one solution to getting your garden in shape, the SGS 5 in 1 multi-tool strimmer, trimmer, and brush cutter comes... Its just to I get my main Strimmer back on-line and as others have mentioned that cant be too far away. No idea how it will hold up and if its any use what-so-ever but for £155 its worth a punt for the other odd-jobs I have around the place.
  16. Thanks for the suggestion. Not really on the cards and not so suitable for me with so much tree's on the plot.
  17. Never really used Husky stuff. My Old man swears by them hence why I use Stihl.
  18. I know, but my other option would be to buy another used Stihl Strimmer. I really dont know if 52cc is enough?
  19. So my Stihl Strimmer is out of action for a while. I bought it second hand and after 3 years of good service I notice two of the bolts holding the Head onto the shaft have sheared off and another thread is partially stripped out, so there is only one bolt keeping it together. I'll get it fixed but in the mean time I was thinking of getting this machine. Will it be any good for a 1.5 acre plot? Lots of weeds and bracken out the back. Wold this 52cc machine be up to the task? Seems very cheap. https://www.sgs-engineering.com/gps520-52cc-petrol-trimmer?utm_source=SGS+Engineering&utm_campaign=972068787a-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2019_09_06_Garden_COPY_01&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_cc26f39420-972068787a-110054065&mc_cid=972068787a&mc_eid=14cdf47d71
  20. There's no replacement for displacement-. Ah, beaten to it.
  21. I see you've doubled down on the Irony and have now entered Hypocrisy Grand Central Station. This really is gold.
  22. There is a certain level of irony here but I wonder if you'll figure it out for yourself?
  23. For sure! Much nicer. Similar to one I had lately.
  24. I am worried. But the Silver Lining is Im no longer worried about Labour getting into Number 10 as even they dont believe they will.
