  1. Cheers, thats who I use. Base in Forfar too so well handy. Think I'll order another 1000 liters.
  2. If I dont get asked to self isolate in a hotel in Norway for the next two weeks Im gonna build a Shaving Horse then start milling timber for a Timber Frame Workshop. ?
  3. Cheers. This is our 4th kid. And she's the only one to need a bottle and the only one to need a Dummy. The wee lass has actually preferred the bottle since she was 3 months old, when she first started getting offered it due to difficulties feeding (tongue tied)
  4. I appreciate its your opinion and your entitled to that.
  5. No, Ive never had a quote for it. As I never intend to be self employed. If I ever did want to be self employed Id either stump up, or have a good amount put aside for a rainy day. If its not possible to put anything aside for a rainy day even with everything you can write off as being self employed then you're better off being PAYE as clearly being self empolyed is not working for that individual.
  6. Self employed, you take your chances. Some you win, some you lose. With some clever accountancy, which you've claimed you've used in the past to avoid paying tax is hardly unknown to the government is it? So you avoid paying tax then moan when the taxpayer is not bailing you out. Why self employed folk are not insured to the hilt I dont know?
  7. I still have my Sawmill thank you very much. I bet you built this to pass the time till you get a new one.
  8. Simply not what a school is for. Maybe, if nothing else, this panic over nothing might change this.
  9. Dont let facts like this get in the way of a good moan/rant/scare story.
  10. I refuse to stockpile anything. We're now hearing baby formula is being bought by panic buyers as milk and powdered milk is running out. Which is just great when we have an 8 month old. The missus breastfeeds as best she can but the wee one is a bloody gannet.
  11. You're right, there is exceptions. The example you wrote is a perfect example of what the system is for. The vast majority abuse it though.
  12. Then I guess they'll have to hawk their iphones and buy the kids some damn food.
  13. There is simply no reason on earth why kids in the UK need a free lunch from Schools. Parents who allow their kids to grow up like that should have them taken off of them for neglect.
  14. Its not in the Cookie Jar, I promise.
  15. Sidelined due to his ill thought out comment regarding Grenfell.
  16. I hope you're sitting down as I actually agree with you.
  17. There's a fully restored. Dominion 24" Planer round my way for sale. Looks to be a cracker, but I dont have the space or 3ph to run it. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/744753129366434/ The project in the book I bought is a 16 x 12 foot garage or workshop. Its a starter project that incorporates a lot of the basic joinery skills required in Timber Framing. The design is old American/early settlers and as such the timbers are left more 'rustic'. Will suit me fine for just now. The Sedgwick sounds great though, pity I cant put it to good use or a good home. Lets see a picture of your 24 x 12!
  18. If I could have afforded it I would have went for the 1001, there is so much more you can add to it, saying that the 751 Pro can have a fair amount added now too. Logosol really hung the buyers of the first gen 751 out to dry, very disappointing.
  19. Its what I have. Loaded this 28" Oak on it today. [emoji4] Bought a Timber Frame Construction Book so will be building the project in the book with the Oak and the new (to me) Makita Chain Mortiser @Johnsondsecured for me. [emoji4]
  20. Thats mad. Anyway, its just in a box so all good.
