No, I quite agree there. We've always had first class care in the NHS and always ensure we let them know much we appreciated their care. When our two year old was 3 months old my Wife fell in Tesco and fractured her knee and damaged some tendons. They gave her a room to herself due to having the baby and I was quite set for sleeping on the chair beside her. But they actually gave me a room next to my wife's so I could sleep too. Every time we've been there its always been the same. But as you mention its the bureaucracy and management that heavily mar the NHS. The people at the coalface have to make do as best they can and constantly have the worry of getting sued for doing something wrong. When our last daughter was born my wife opted for a water birth. The Midwife suggested she come out the pool, go to the toilet and then pop onto the bed for a quick examination before getting back in the pool. But as my wife was on the toilet another contraction came and with my wife standing up the baby came and fell into the toilet. ? The Midwife and I where chatting away at this point and she went pale. She'd kinda dropped the ball and for the next two days was shitting herself we where going to either put an official complaint in or worse, sue the NHS. We had one of my wifes friend working on the Ward at the time so she filled us in with the details, and the bollocking the other Midwife got. But not once did it occur to us to complain about it. It was just one of those things. What really pisses me off is people using the NHS as a political tool to score points. Its pathetic and clearly not the issue.

This is so disheartening. The NHS stopped being fit for purpose a long time ago. A full and complete overhaul is needed.

Blunt blade Id reckon. Or the set is buggered on the bottom and/or hit something on the bottom side. Tension set right? You had another thread on guide bearings, on my Mill you can adjust the Guides in 4 directions, if they are adjusted wrong the blade will cut wrong, in either upward, or a downward direction. I flat bar sitting over a neutral set tooth then a spirit level on top of that will give you a good indication of guide bearing adjustment. Going by the previous cut the finish looks quite feathery, so Id go with blunt blade. Have you tried changing it out to see if it eliminates the issue?

Its the same broken record banded about whenever an opposition party gains office. The Opposition will always claim that any good the incoming office does is because of the outgoing party, and any bad that happens is placed firmly at the foot of the outgoing party by the incoming. And around and around we go. There is plenty evidence to counter any link you post (Ive gotta go out to work now) But you'd hold it in the same esteem Id hold what you present, so pointless. At least Labour in all their Wisdom left a note to the Tories putting their hands up admitting they drained the piggy bank dry.

Id piss on Priti Patel, but we're veering away from Politics now.
-
Whoever these people are that you're referring to must be complete nutcases. Thats some 'Occupy Democrats' reasoning right here. Next up we have PETA with their balanced view on animal care.
-
Thats like, your opinion man. You're emotive investment in this seems to have rendered your objectivity to a level akin to MarkJ's.
-
Im sure some sensitive petal will be offended. Silver lining and all that.
-
The Left are full of hate and racism? Who's have guessed? Same as it ever was. Its a good article too, right on point. I await @Big Js disection of it, Im sure he'll do so in a fair and entirely impartial way?
-
Good grief, do you actually believe the nonsense you spout? Not to worry, will be a Tory government for years to come. If only we could utilise the bitter tears of Labour and their supporters, they'd finally make a worthwhile contribution to society.

The M47 got the Chrysler Hemi V12. The knowledge garnered during the design of this Hemi engine and the V16 Hemi the P47 Thunderbolt laid the foundations for the geometry of the Generation 1 and 2 Hemi's used in Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth and DeSoto powered Mopars from the '50's to the 70's. Interesting, for me anyway.

I have never smoked, its a disgusting habit but if people like smoking who am I to say they cant? No one who smokes these days does so blindly. At nearly £13 a pack they are paying for their health case 10 fold. Well, if your IQ is as high as you claim it to be, and I have no reason to doubt it, you're clearly above reasonably intelligent. Im not sure you're ever gonna get your wish to have a Home Secretary with an IQ what you claim yours to be, I cant remember what it was exactly but I remember you're in the top 1% globally. Surely anyone with that level of intelligence would find a job that pays them well? I dont think she's as dumb as you claim, but the fact remains we're in a society that promotes equality of outcome and not equality of opportunity. We simply have to have a number of each sex on every board the country over now or people will be screeching from the roof tops. She may well, and most likely is a figurehead for her department. Yes, the very same who get above their station. The unelected shadowy people who are on the whole unaccountable for their actions and seem to answer to no one, certainly not the British Public. Which brings me back to my point regarding having their noses put out of joint. Could it be that Priti Patel (because so's so damn retarded) chooses not to listen to 'those that know best' and they've taken collective revenge? I would not be surprised in the slightest. The ones that run the show from the shadows and are accountable to no one? Well thats great! I'm liking her more and more. Screw how the government works. It's clearly a shit show anyway. The left all hate the Tories, but when a Tory is perceived as not doing what the Tories in the shadows tells them to they are suddenly all concerned? Bizarre. Spare me the hyperbole! Honestly J, I expect more from you.

a, yes, that was a bit embarrassing. b, She's an alleged bully of civil servants who think they are anything but. I think they've not had to deal with a strong willed woman before and their noses where put out of joint. Its been said civil servants think they run the show, perhaps they needed put back in their box? I could also be the case that most women in the office are accused of being bitches, always got a point to prove, catty with other women etc. Could it be a bit of that? Who knows. Personally I think its her firm stance on immigration that has so many lefties spewing bile. c, Is it Smoking you have an issue with or people who lobby for them? Do you think people be banned from Smoking? Or just banned from promoting it? I really dont care if she whips her office into check. Civil servants are a bunch of self serving wank stains at the best if times. Sniveling weasel deck jockeys, I could easily believe they just reported her for her smirk. Going by the Lefties here is sure seems to elicit quite the emotive response. If she puts her words into action regarding immigration, no not the slip up in your comment (a) then she will be doing the job that the majority of the UK want her to. If it upsets the left then even better. With Labour imploding and fighting amongst themselves we've all been denied a chance to see the Left go into meltdown on anyone else other than their own.
-
She must be doing something right then.
-
You've led a sheltered life it seems.
-
I said stop! Im sitting in the office, the guys will see me getting hard. Whats not to like? A strong, good looking Woman with Balls of Steel, and a cheeky wee grin thrown in to. The Daughter of immigrants who has worked hard to get where she is. She should really be a poster girl for the left, but they hate her for not following their dogma so they resort to name calling and mocking her for her looks. You really do have to admire the blinkered hate of the left, but please keep it up, you're just ensuring another 10 years of Tory rule.
-
Stop it, you're getting me hard.
-
Sounds like she has some Balls on her. I like her even more now, thanks for sharing.
-
Yes, of course. Its merely your (biased?) opinion that she does not have these traits. Do you have any evidence to back up your point of view other than; She Tory = Tory Bad?
-
Well Abbacus was consistently in a world of her own when it came to facts and figures. Year in year out her maths where an abomination. Although Ive not watched the clip it seems like she's fluffed up what she was saying. The link even stated she had trouble getting her words out. So no, I'll not ridicule her for one slip up. Where it to be come a habit then yes I would.
-
I quite agree, because empathy is definitely not a requirement for that position. She seems to be handling herself very well, but there will always be complainers and moaners.
-
We're in a land dispute with our neighbors. Its interesting how far off both our perceived idea of where the official boundary is compared to what can proved with a Surveyor and his magic stick. Supposedly its very accurate. Would it be worth having one out to confirm where the actual boundary is?
-
Shes the Home Secretary not your Mum.

I dont think its a case of the more airflow the better. Its a balancing act and some seem to prefer thickier stickers than others. Maybe some prefer thicker or thinner sticks depending on what they are drying, but 1" seems to be banded about quite a lot. In the 3 years Ive been milling I find 3/4" a nice balance.
-
More airflow the quicker it dies and more likely to twist? Just thinking out loud. Im gonna be dropping some cherry soon and would like to Mill it. Saying that I milled it all at 1", maybe if I milled it at 2" I could save the middle 1"? Let me know how it goes over the next few weeks.
