  1. Id have thought unskilled labour was digging ditches or cleaning, ie paid from the neck down. You'd have to be at least somewhat familiar with a Chainsaw, teli-handler/forklift and operating a Processor and potentially very basic maintenance? Whilst not in the skilled labour camp I agree you're not gonna pull someone off the street to do this work unless you're happy to spend the first week training them up and fixing/paying for their mistakes. Someone with the above skills is surely not gonna want to work for pennies are they?
  2. Thats the one I bought. Needed a few extra spacers and Rob sent them out for free. I have/had a Chinese Ecomill but one of the Legs is a genuine Granberg. Fits fine and works great.
  3. I did processor work for £10 an hour for a while. For two reasons mainly, 1, I could hire the Avant off of him on the weekends for cheap and 2, I rent workshop space off of him for cheap as well. I'd not even consider doing that otherwise. Id be wanting £120 a day minimum. Another incentive to work harder was a free bag of logs when we made the target for the day, which was not always possible, especially with hardwood.
  4. Gobble gobble gobble.
  5. The kit I got off of Chainsawbars was cheap, basic and backwards compatible. It works with the existing brackets.
  6. I cant attach links via the app if thats what you're trying to do Dave?
  7. Do you have the quick release handles for the legs? Makes adjusting much quicker. You're done within 90 seconds.
  8. Nah, it’s trash TV. I’d no bother with a licence if it was not for the wife and kids. All my media is on-line. Netflix, Amazon, HBO etc.
  9. Ok cheers. Was a little confusing as it sounded like you where saying this method was slower than regular Alaskan Milling.
  10. Do you drop the rails for every cut? Or do you leave the rails in place then allow the Alaskans legs to drop down to the required depth and lower the rails periodically when you run outta leg depth?
  11. Thats you told @gobbypunk
  12. Its a camper than Christmas version of Judge Judie. Which if you dont have a TV you may not know about either. Judge Judie is an American TV show where a real Judge takes on small claims disputes, usually ones that are interesting and/or bonkers. She's actually very fair and has a great track record of sticking up for men when it comes to paternity disputes etc. Judge Rinder is the British knock off and is so bad I dont think it lasted a season.
  13. £1550! (genuine bid)
  14. Nothing worse. Added to the pain is the frustration of not being able to do anything. Ive got a drawer full of Morphine if you need any.
  15. They have a vastly different mentality than us. But also they tax everyone much more and also their population is significantly smaller. Its the same dealing with Norway.
  16. Maybe not. But maybe Aluminium components to reduce weight?
  17. Its brilliant. On of those 'why did I not think of that' moments- Its kinda like a cross between a Lucas Mill and a Logosol M8. And much less back breaking than regular Alaskan Milling heights. I expect to see copies of this idea soon. Maybe even light weight aluminium versions.
  18. Another way in which they control you.
  19. As you know I’m in Norway just now as well. After getting out of my 10 days quarantine it was nice to wander around the shops and pick up some beers. Not a mask in sight. Can’t say I’m looking forward to getting through Aberdoom Airport.
  20. I cant think of one government in the West that is not doing near enough the same thing. Ok, maybe not Sweden. Add to that what Australia and NZ are doing and the UK is lagging behind in the Jack Boot race. Oz has pretty much closed their boarders, even to their own citizens. I know an Aussie Lad who works in Ghana, had to take a months forced holiday in the UK before going back to Ghana for another month because he could not get back into his own country. Then you have the far east and their draconian measures.
  21. Interesting. She loves her milk as well. Has a hot glass of it before her morning nap and again in the evening. I'll get the wife to try her on Goats milk for a while then. Thanks.
  22. Control.
  23. Its criminal to destroy these children's education and potentially their future based on nothing other than fear.
  24. Dont the boffins say that the chance of catching The Big Rona outside is drastically reduced compared to indoors hence why Beer Gardens and other outdoor activities where one of the first to be reintroduced and masks have never been a requirement outdoors either. As long as there is no tonsil tennis behind the bike shed Im sure the kids will be perfectly safe.
  25. My Daughter get the School bus to school. Hour journey as we're out in the sticks and it does the milk run. So far she tells me they have at least so far stuck to it, and the Scottish schools have been back for a fair few weeks now.
