  1. Apology accepted.
  2. Consistent? I'll assume you'll be able to provide examples? Ive not offered such a thing in the past nor have I done so now. That's simply your tale on it.
  3. Well not right now obviously as Im off-shore. But sometimes when discussions veer off the way they are its better to make your point face to face to avoid any confusion.
  4. Supposedly every time someone takes the piss he goes and buys himself a new piece of equipment. In the three months he's been here he must have bought the whole Stihl Catalogue. Maybe he can ask his Millionaire Daddy is he can store everything at his chain of Hotels? Or perhaps he can break into his £250,000 trust fund from rich relatives that supposedly disowned his father and his family and build a Warehouse for all this equipment he's to busy cleaning windows 7 days a week to use?
  5. Don't encourage him!
  6. How's the Hang-over? I seen no point in engaging you yesterday when you where clearly drunk again. It is just your point of view and you're putting words in my mouth that I simply did not say. But we'll talk about that and what you previously wrote one day, in person, and Im still very much looking forward to how that goes.
  7. Thats the thing thought. Lock everyone up for a month. Covid all but eradicated from the UK. Back to business as usual but also back to square one in a matter of weeks then back to lock-down.
  8. And when they let flights in again?
  9. No, its not really powerful, good for wee jobs and clogging up sub 12" logs and the small tree jobs he did in London. I realise Im contradicting myself here. Lets say I found it surprisingly powerful for a Saw run off a couple of batteries. He had Makita Cordless tools so has loads of batteries and chargers so was a no brainer getting a Makita bare unit over Stihl.
  10. You've used a few petrol chainsaws and are comparing them to the DeWalt electric Chainsaw or you've tried a few electric Chainsaws and find the DeWalt the best? Ive not heard much good things about the DeWalt to be honest which is a shame as thats the Cordless tools I use. My brother has the 36v Makita and he loves it, really powerful and great for city use.
  11. Well I was thinking more of a months supply. Thats £8 for me maximum. But I get your point, if you're can make a weeks worth in 1 minute with free materials then why not. But I guess most folk need to buy something.
  12. Homebargains Firelighters are 50p a pack and burn wel A pack lasts me a week. Making your own is nice quaint hobby but factor in your time and is it worth it? Thats a minimum of £30. I can buy a lot of Firelighters for thirty quid. Kindlings another matter though. At £2.00 for a small bundle I can knock out £2.00's worth in under 2 minutes and have it cut to the length I like and not that dumpy crap you get at Homebargains which is about 6" long and 2" diameter. I find that 140 year old Pine flooring makes lovely Kindling.
  13. I bought a Bandsaw Mill and an Alaskan set-up and was disowned. [emoji6]
  14. I have a lot of time on my hands. The Pearls of Wisdom he dispenses there are so hilarious I couldn't help but keep reading.
  15. I thought that as well, just an epic troll. But read his posts on the Window Cleaning Forum, he blethers the same nonsense there as well. I genuinely think he believes it.
  16. Was it the same businessmen that convinced you to part with £5000 for a course in stocks and shares? No wonder they all want to be your friend.....
  17. If the timber is out of the elements I’m not sure you’d need to treat other softwoods anyway? Cladding would obviously be different. You’re gonna love me for slapping a mix of burst oil and AFT around the bases of my fence posts then. 🤣
  18. Why this Labour War Criminal is not in jail I’ll never know!
  19. You don’t say! 🤣
  20. I could maybe get you a load but it would be coming from the North East of Scotland.!🤣
  21. I think you’ll struggle to get loads under 10t with 20t being the norm. I could be wrong but larch seems a bit scarce these days but I’ve seen £80 a ton and more being banded about. Any particular reason that 2x8 and 2x6 needs to be larch? Could Spruce or DF work just as well?
  22. Cheers Mike! I’m starting to see parts can be an issue. If it lasts long enough for this big oak it will have earned its keep. Crazy to think that an oil pump is not available for it.
  23. I’ve got the Stihl Dynamic BT’s. I like them and the speaker quality is surprisingly good. Hear, hear! With STIHL’s new Ear Protectors with Speakers | STIHL Blog BLOG.STIHL.CO.UK Get connected with the DYNAMIC BT Bluetooth ear protectors. Perfect for listening to your favourite music or taking quick phone calls whilst working.
  24. Cheers Mac! I bet it ripped through that log like a knife through butter!
