  1. Totally agree that as responsible citizens we have an obligation to behave in a certain way. But to talk of legislation etc to maintain control over a situation that is nowhere near as bad as she is making out is a dangerous road to go down. Police Scotland have stated its unenforceable but the fact that it’s in the papers and being discussed without uproar is in itself worrying.
  2. Yeah stay alert to civil liberties and freedoms being eroded in the name of looking after the NHS, or as I heard today in some piss poor answer to an even poorer question, to protect the majority of obedient citizens from the actions of a minority. Pure control nothing more ?‍♂️.
  3. What will cause trouble is the implied threat from Sturgeon to put into law this 5 mile max journey and other recommendations from her absolute control freak government. Bearing in mind Scotland had 1 death today linked to covid19 ?‍♂️It seems like losing that extra element of control this so called crisis has given her is a bitter pill to swallow. To have to adhere to rules akin to a police state has no place in any part of the UK.
  4. Had enough big time. Not normal to have this much time on your hands. Projects are all well and good but looking over your shoulder constantly regarding income etc is not good for the mental health. Myself mrs and kids were out today, people are out and about and contrary to the ridiculous I dont understand comments from some areas people are taking care and behaving differently ok admittedly not the scaremongering type of avoidance of all people at all costs etc but just common sense application of the guidance. Like the HS said today we cannot live in lockdown indefinitely.
  5. Was worth a punt as wood was free, tree was on its own on the boundary of a playing field. What I should have done was give it the once over with the metal detector ?‍♂️
  6. Yeah quite a bit. Defo shortened its life somewhat ?‍♂️
  7. Yeah Alaskan Andy, luckily only a 36 inch chain and the little granberg sharpener was still lying around set up. Chain was a bloody mess like but hey ho eh.
  8. ????ten mins into actual cut after half the morning prepping. Looks like an old square nail, good 1/4 inch too ?‍♂️?‍♂️
  9. The devolved parliaments have done nothing more than massively increase the costs to joe average tax payer and give us more politicians that need paying, whom claim expenses and end up with an enviable pension. They have managed to have multiple different sets of rules and guidance and even different slogans. A lot of this is nothing more than an ego trip driven by party political allegiances. Although they are all happy for Westminster to pick up the tab for all this. UK policy should have been across the board but with options to implement different controls as and when required. The different devolved policies that run down the middle of communities or even streets in some cases are a total farce. End of day the reality of the situation is that most of what the bloody fool politicians announced yesterday is already happening outside of the ego bubble they exist in. Sturgeons comment ref how she felt like crying when she saw pics of people on the beach near Edinburgh was more like the reaction of a spoilt brat in a playground trying to control a particular game should be played.
  10. ?? way beyond my artistic abilities
  11. Well the two guys whom were on site, one was all for sycamore and the other Maple ?‍♂️
  12. Cheers guys, any good for anything ??
  13. Old BMW soon to be deceased.
  14. Hi All Picked a couple of lumps up today, tree had been felled to make way for a shed. Maple was mentioned but I’ll leave it to those who may know. cheers
  15. Funny how the media is in an absolute feeding frenzy over the current Doms travels issue. No one is batting an eyelid ? pun intended about the antics of the Chinese in Hong Kong or in reality the fact that the source of this was also a Chinese issue. We have total idiots like the snp fool Blackford demanding an enquiry ffs and even managed to tag on the end of it a comment ref independence. The antics of the French escorting illegal immigrants by the boatload on a daily basis across the channel generated a murmur for a few days but nothing more and in reality how much of a health risk is that as opposed to Doms journey ?????. Like a lot of things with this virus it’s degenerated to a political points scoring exercise complete with massive doses of over the top indignation fed to a gullible easy led proportion of the public whom love nothing more than having a public figure to vilify. The issues facing the country are enormous but what does the media concentrate on ????.
  16. This is on Gumtree Aberdeenshire, tried to attach a link to ad but no joy.
  17. If I have to tell you then it’s truly pointless. you took it too far all based and driven by your political views. There has been some good banter and robust debate here but the accusations of blood on hands etc. Too much for me bud you've got the floor all to yourself.
  18. Fuck sake Mark way way too far ?‍♂️ Bloody disgusting.
  19. Mark reality is I don’t want nothing more than the ability to go to work. The numbers don’t add up ref avoiding people. Especially outdoor activities or work. My point is the criteria espoused by politicians up here are more than being met right now yet no sign of her relinquishing the control it gives.
  20. Means nothing to me. England is back to work in many places this bloody SNP fool up here is hanging onto her position as the leader of Scotland during what she terms the health crisis or put it another way the best opportunity for the spotlight that she has ever had. Both ltd companies you have will have the ability to furlough or receive assistance and the opportunity to apply for the bounce back loan.
  21. Nothing from no one for me Mark so living on next years tax money. But that’s not sustainable in the long term.
  22. Not remotely interested in how he or his nieces sorted their situation out. What concerns me is what’s relevant to the hundreds of thousands of self employed whom are struggling big time. Not helped by the behaviour of cynical control freaks up here in Scotland.
  23. If I lived in that lonely crowded shithole Mark and being from Northumberland had only family up there I’d have jumped in the car no probs. people are doing far far worse on a daily basis. Many have got there teeth into this weeks meal. My genuine feeling is I don’t give a fuck. More important for me is the continued destruction of people’s economic and mental health due to totally over the top restrictions. Scotland today had 3 deaths from a population of 5.5 million ?‍♂️?‍♂️Yet no budging from Sturgeon at all. We still have to wait like good subservient citizens until she seems ready to tell us what we can do.
  24. Well if I haven’t just totally ignored the stringent rules we are supposed to live by. Myself the wife and my two kids have just travelled for no good reason other than to get out the bloody house to drop off some stuff at a friends. Socially distanced, stayed aware and didn’t even need to take a shit Nicola ?I know every move myself and my family have made for the past 7 weeks ?‍♂️?‍♂️. I think we really really need to get a fucking grip here. Technically I’ve just broken the SNP lockdown in reality I’ve used my own judgement and a modicum of common sense and put absolutely no one at harm.
  25. Earlier times as in the last labour Government!!. ?‍♂️ Human nature I’m afraid
