Not my milling but down on weather today so took the opportunity to visit the Kent County Show. Some good stuff to be seen, guys with the old steam driven circular seemed to be having some issues ( who doesn’t milling) but interesting nonetheless. The exposed blade and potential consequences did send a shiver down your spine mind.

Me too SSEN have destroyed the last 12-13 years of time effort and money that has been invested in our home. When I hear righteous pricks lecturing me about climate change etc id love them to have to live with it for a few months. Needless to say Stubby I want out and away from it.

For any of those members who refer to it as an inconvenience, imagine having that level of noise constantly during anything other than dry clear weather. The hissing and static is bad enough but the low level drone you hear if you hold the phone to your ear really takes its toll. I presume you use the same petrol, diesel, plastics, electricity, metals etc etc I do on a daily basis so unless that keyboard you relentlessly tap away it is made from 100% net zero products then you are on rather shaky ground. Horses, wind,coal , steam, oil, nuclear etc etc of course there is always change and progress but most definitely not at the level and pace some lunatics are demanding or when it literally hobbles you as an individual or nation. We just don’t have the technology etc in place. Oil will be required and around long after everyone who is on here today is in the ground.

That wasn’t directed at yourself, the article was ok as far as a Guardian article on oil and gas ever can be. My own personal opinion is the whole UK sector N Sea Oil and Gas industry and opportunities have been catastrophically mismanaged from the very first day and still is now.

What platform/vessel you on ?? You might bump into Andy. I’ll be back out myself shortly in UK sector doing a IRM project for Ithaca. West of Shetland depth ?? vs depth off Angola or Brazil etc etc ?? The technology is there but we don’t have the balls or common sense like the Norwegians.
