Most cuts I make on the mill have that finish to a greater or lesser extent depending on type of wood I’m cutting. I’ve seen a pile of elm slabs cut to 1”from a computerised woodmizer and they had the same. Im no expert but i have found with my 130 if the blades set at the correct torque and sharp it will cut accurately all day no problem. The finish is often worse than good high standard chainsaw milling but that’s been mentioned many times before on here.

Had a quote from the saw doctor I use to sharpen the ripper blades I’m currently using. If and when I try them I’ll post up any pros or cons.

As above has anyone had any experience of using these blades??. Coming in at substantially less than ripper 37s. Cheers

Well hopefully coming sense plays a part in getting children back to school. Strange to see MSM now swinging to reporting why kids can’t go back and actually reporting the absolutely minimal risk rather than full on scaremongering. If vaccines are what it takes then teachers should be a priority.

Little bit of MSM coverage, no outrage or complaints by anyone and before you know it it’s policy or worse still law. We seem now 12 months into this to be under more and more and more guidance/laws as every week passes. Blaming noncompliance by individuals has long since lost any credibility.

If only 🤷♂️ I know one guy who’s house is gone and several others whom are on rock bottom. Hmrc are showing zero interest in the past years events. But the facts you quote is what I’m hearing from this sector ie we’ve been flat out. Me personally I’ve had zero in the way of grants etc. Like a lot of self employed i fit outdide most of the eligibility parameters, not through dodgy dividend schemes etc I might add. -

True Mark but in reality many people have had zero choice but to borrow to try and save businesses. I think talking to individuals within the industry the Arb/tree/forestry game has got through this reasonably if not very well, many others have been utterly destroyed by the adoption of lockdown and it’s subsequent effects as the only way to tackle this. -

Nope 17/21 it was, death or glory skull and crossbones and all that. 1 squadron only was on Cyprus, still using ferrets and Saladins at the time, I think the remainder of the regiment was undergoing conversion to challenger 1. Various armoured regiments provided a squadron on 2yr rotation as resident armoured etc, resident infantry battalion was on the same 2 yr rotation.

Lol no wonder you kicked back at being referred to as Cropper, Small world indeed, you weren’t in Cyprus in the 80s as resident armoured squadron at Epi by any chance were you ??. You guys had a breech let go I think on a Saladin during that tour. My regiment had a 4 tonner come off the road from troodos. Did my motorcycle test under the auspices of 17/21 instructors in a scheme put in place after a trooper called pepe lost his legs in a motorcycle crash.

That was from the last post I’ve just put up, am I not allowed to ask for an explanation when I’ve been accused of saying something I blatantly did not. Same as if you are called stupid or the word clown is thrown in to the mix, if you have to resort to insults then who in reality is the stupid one ??. The comments ref select club lol, it’s not as exclusive as you think.

This is your favoured tactic which we have covered many times before ie keep asking for explanations and throwing in a a load of questions. My news sources are variable. Without wasting my morning in this Big J has written on several occasions about targeting the protective measure at the vulnerable and at risk groups etc it’s that form of action I think should be taken. To put it another way tell me why you think Lockdowns are the only answer. Bearing in mind the other fallout they cause.
