  1. About 3 ft wide and will lift 200 kg roughly

I've got an opico skidster with a timber grab , handy little machine, but rips up grass if your too hashy , plan to put a diesel engine in it at some point , not too good on ground clearance and can get bogged down on soft stuff, but very handy and fast on the right job , lifts to a decent height too
  3. Yeah still running and very busy , special Santa trains start running in December, we've been working on what they call "track week " when the railway is closed for 2 weeks for maintenance , my kids are sick of it now !

  7. gareth , thanks very much for the advice , fairly big job for a few bits of plastic , I'll get some help from the local agri mechanic , usually kept them greased up but maybe haven't moved them in and out frequently enough causing them to seize ? I'll give you a ring if we struggle cheers joe

Hi all , I have a problem with the internal plastic track sliders, does anyone know how to replace them without taking the whole tracking system off , somehow the securing plate holding them in place came off and the plastic inserts pulled out as the tracks were extended to their full width . Thanks
  9. Try muncaster, they have a Woodmizer and a kiln now , they may have a stock of boards

Similar to Steve's crack , thinning branches and trees between a road and a layby , thought it would be a good idea to strim the undergrowth first , caught several bags that smelt like toxic waste , found out later that week that one of the local builders would shit in a bag in a bucket in his van and wang it in there quite often ,minging

    customer wont pay

    Take the money , move on to the next customer , there is always tightwads in any business , you probably find if you keep working to a decent standard you'll get a tip off a different customer making up the short fall , you need some bad customers to appreciate the good ones worth working for !
  21. I have husky 560 which has been fine for 3 or 4 years , however now it's been running and switched off and laid on its side it struggles to start , seems like it floods , it's ok if it's left the right way up , anybody know how to sort this , thanks
