Hi all , I've got a timberwolf 150 vtr year 2010 with 1700 hrs on , right hand side track has become noticeably slower in recent months , so we replaced the track motor drive but seems to be no different, does anyone have any similar experiences as to what it could be ? I'm think possibly the control valve group needs looking at , any help would be greatly appreciated, thank in advance
  7. Managed to get a 32 inch bar for mine from honey brothers, couldn't find husky skip chain anywhere so just had to go with the usual

  9. I've done the same for 25 years , 4 on 4 off , it's been great over the years but it becomes very hard trying to cram work in as you become busier and busier, although I do tend to pick the nice jobs now and pass on the ivy covered shite with bad attitude nieghbours 😁

  14. Hi , I need to replace the aluminium fan sections on the rotor as one of the fins has snapped off , I've read that this will unbalace the rotor ? Is it an easy job or does anything need balanced or is special gear needed , cheers joe
  15. Had a similar problem, we just put a stainless steel plate under the mantel with a cm gap , seems to be fine , the steel hardly get hot

    Cheers mark , your probably right , just selling to get a 592 when they arrive , cant beat the ting ting ting and smell of a new saw 😂, just fancy a change really . Aye I've always used red sthil oil , never had any issues in 25 years

    Looking at selling this 660 , approx 10 years old , anybody know a rough value, 30 inch bar also a 25 and 18 inch bars
  22. If it's not an optic cable they are easy enough to join if you cut them, just a bit fiddly , hardest bit is tensioning the cable back up so try and cut a bit not under tension, easier to join
  23. I was told by the engineer that the fibre cable dont like being clobbered , or if they are bent or creased you'll need a new line putting in
