1. Multiple windblow gets me bum twitchin...great pics mate, good luck in Canada, show em wot its all aboot ay
2. You need your ears checked treequip, all the voices including the voice over are American,if you listen closely you can hear the saw operator curse f@#k as it gets pinched.
3. Ive used a 201 tc-m 2015 model, gutless piece of dogsh#@,i dunno if it was a lemon cause it went into our mechanic couple of times but its a gamble i personally wouldnt take in buying one. My heart belongs too 020av,but an absolute bitch to service or work on so in my humble experience 200T is king. You have me thinkin of drilling a couple of 8 mil holes in a 200t...hmmmm
4. I did say ime mick..in my experience and is your 201 stock or is it modded/upgraded
5. 9 times out of 10 its Americans...they all seem to have a chainsaw or know someone with a chainsaw...who doesnt know how to use it lol
6. Ive used a 14" on a 201 tc-m,it struggled deep in the cut,couldnt pull the skin off a custard. 12"on a 201 is best ime 14 on 200T is sweeeet!
7. Opinions are divided, passions are running high... It will decend into confectionary name calling...
8. By the way doughnut not donut... We have different opinions no need to get childish and start name calling... Whats next my dads bigger than your dad.. Im back off to lala land now...i mean reality you jam sponge
9. Will it still pass a loler though? The petzl grillion has to be replaced with the same rope-from petzl of course. Bit of a rip off really
10. 200T is the only topper that can handle a 14 "bar imo. Ive seen a 16 on a 200T-gave me a giggle
11. Did i say that...no of course not. Im saying that our industry is dangerous so walking away from jobs because theyre dangerous is unrealiatic because all jobs are dangerous. OP aside i was answering a question put to me earlier
12. Not a chance in hell mate, get in the van and drive away? How long have you been in the industry? I can count on one finger the amount of jobs thats 99.9% safe. Our industry,by nature is dangerous, have you written a risk assesment for any of your jobs ..the risks are endless. Add on to that pressure from your boss to get the job done in the allocated time, the guys around you who depend on you to provide them with work to pay the bills and provide for there families. I agree safety is paramount but to say dont do the job unless its 99.9% risk free is frankly unachievable unless your using a bow saw to take down a 3 foot apple tree....yourself....in a field....with no one around...perfectly flat ground...perfect weather...oh yeah and you live in lala land.
13. Its the jury you'd have to convince mate
14. Or the longer your in the game the more your prone to lapses in consentration cause its what you do every day. I like to call it a brainfart
15. Put pressure on pfanner to make better eardefenders with their helmet. Begs the question though... Why buy the helmet if you were aware the ear protection was ineffective ???
16. Yeah this has been on other forums, the company involved has been slated for it. Too me it looks like a catalogue of errors that ended badly.Couldve been worse though, thankfully no one was injured
17. I dont doubt you'll find something in that time frame, just make sure its a company that can give you guarenteed hours and are prepared to invest in your future training.
18. Might be longer than a few weeks unemployed,in that situation what do you do? In my experience most firms i know wont do unpaid/voluntary work.
19.

T H trees are recruiting,im not sure where in London area theyre based but give it a go.

Good luck

20. I see ads for companys lookin for people in london area all the time, dunno if id be brave enough too jack in a job in the off chance that i could start a whole new career though. Be prepared to start at the bottom and working hard for not much in remuneration mate good luck
21. The way i look at it is climbing is more dangerous and skilled than grounding, therefor i drop my hourly rate for groundie work. If im climbing and help the ground lads out once im down then my climbing rate still applies. Most climbs are agreed by the job rather than hourly rate though
22. Aint necessarily so eggs,i would charge less for grounding than climbing. Although it would vary according to the individual involved
23. He posts to my area-glasgow haha:001_tt2:
24. Simple answer-cost of living varies region to region. Cost of living in london is higher than for example leeds,so companies/subbies/workers expect/charge more for those areas. I can get 100 quid a day sub contract climbing in Glasgow area, thats all my own kit/PPE/fuel. Transfere that to the south of england i could get 150.
