    You can talk till your blue in the face to homeowners about there trees and whats good for the tree and a regular maintenance program but some just want the top "lopped off" and think annual maintenance is just an exscuse to rip them off.

    Some of this makes me laugh-the governent are not in control of our economy,the banks are. The problem lies in the government serving the needs of banks and companies before the needs of the people. The tories have time and time again surrendered to the will of big companies by giving them tax breaks to the tune of billions when our own citizens are being subjected to Atos interviews to cut benefits for those who really need help. I dont think Labour have all the answers but they are a better prospect than Theresa May and her cohorts.

    That drone looks like a great idea,especially since i cant throw worth a f##k. The extendable chainsaw gizmo is not for me but the battery pack harness could be utilised to recharge electric chainsaws we have now.

    Yeah theyll do the job for you but are quite heavy in comparison to the carbon fibre spikes. In time once your climbing regular get yourself good spikes. Cant you hire the equipment for your cs38 course?

    I use the ear plugs,muffs are a pain in the ass when climbing but fine for ground work.If your main concern is ear protection the sordin eardefenders are very good.

    As ive said ive little experience in this but id be intetested in the maintenance program and results.Would perhaps be a great thread if rrgular visits to the tree are your intention. Keep us posted mate
