  1. So we are looking at underfloor with a air pump then?
  2. Yes flo Gas is a stones throw up the road
  3. See now this is the problem there are so many options that I dont known which way to go. Yes this is the forever home so I need to get it right. I like the idea of all electric but it is by far the most expensive system to run. I am not sure and air pump will produce enough heat to run the rads and heat the water all year. I looked at the latest electric rads and they are excellent, as are the infra red panels, it is just the running costs that worry me. I have oil at the moment and would like a cleaner option as the new place has limited space for a tank, ditto for gas tank so it would have to be bottles.Yes I will improve the loft insulation before I board it out as that will help what ever system we settle on.
  4. Hmmmm its looking more like LPG fired wet system, oh and the obligatory wood burner of course
  5. Moving house soon, the new place has the old style storage heaters full of bricks and I imagine an economy 7 meter. I want to replace these obviously but what to go for. More modern electric heaters, oil or (Tanked) gas central heating, air source heat pump, infra red heaters. Can any one suggest what and why??? No mains gas available in our area. There seems to be so much conflicting information on the new technologies I like the idea of an air source pump but will it run radiators hot enough. If not it may have to be a traditional wet system with bottled gas - but expensive...... confused!!!!!
