  1. Receiving Russian money according to Twitter.
  2. Bought a can of this recently, got a full out lecture from my 28 year old groundsmen about the carcinogenic qualities of aspartame, he calmed down once he’d smoked his fag though.
  3. I’ve never seen that before. Very unlikely the tree is shedding these bunches, unless it’s a hailstorm or a weather ‘event’ A close up of the broken end does look like something progressively cutting/breaking it off, which points to squirrels. I know they take twigs and leaves to make their dreys. But this seems like very careless collection tbh.
  4. I’m guessing from PayPal (which means their clients) themselves who have insurances to underwrite this stuff.
  5. Just seen Putin’s address to the nation. Pretty weak sauce, lot of Russians will be sitting at home wondering wtf.
  6. They’ll give you a tenner off or a free chain, but that’s it. Tbh I don’t care, I’d rather deal with people who are making enough money to do a good job for me and will help me out when I need something done quickly. A few dozen euros here or there is irrelevant.
  7. Next to zero discount on new saws here, you can mupp and squeal all you like.
  8. There’s a load of folk on FB saying they haven’t received orders paid for months ago. Are they answering the phone?
  9. Some have, Springsteen has been brilliant in his tour for example, but he’s not at Glastonbury.
  10. Read that as well. Blondie was rubbish. Cat Stevens is ok but not headliner stuff. If Elton doesn’t kill it I think that Glastonbury might be downgraded a bit in terms of star pulling power.
  11. Less than you paid for it. You know full well what it’s worth. Put it up for sale or don’t.
  12. Rick Astley doing Highway to Hell, awesome!
  13. It’s total bollocks, that doesn’t stand up to any scrutiny whatsoever, nonsense spread by idiots. This bloke (pro Ukraine for reference) makes some interesting points and possible future scenarios.
  14. The Wagner thing is bizarre, but it doesn’t alter the fact that Biden has played a blinder with the Ukraine thing Rallied international support, supplied superior weaponry and intelligence (and encouraged others to do the same) and subtly organised the inevitable defeat of Russia, and the probable downfall of Putin, all without losing an American soldier or risking nuclear war. Putin crossed the line in the sand and has suffered the consequences.
  15. Check the buttons on both sides are working correctly (ie check flashing lights on the button units)
  16. Indeed. It has to be either Prigozhin (we’re going to have to learn how to spell that aren’t we?) going for head of state, or at least head of the Russian military in a new administration. Still, from our point of view on here, it makes a change from moaning about poor people/flat screen TVs/coffee from Starbucks etc.
  17. If, and my speculation is as worthless as anyone’s on here, The Wagner group do head into Russia in some kind of coup attempt, Putin and the chiefs will have to divert soldiers to combat them. Leaving the defenses of their gains in the Ukraine vulnerable to a lightning advance.
