  1. Agreed. I had my ‘98 from 2001 to 2016, a million quid easy in that time, plus it moved us to France, doing countless trips to Blighty and back and all over south west France working for Brits in the first few years after coming here. My late dad gave me a lift to pick it up after its tipper body was fitted, I could tell how proud he was that his (up to that point) hopeless son finally seemed to be sorting himself out. This photo was taken the day it was taken away. Excuse the nostalgia.
  2. Have you been to an ENT consultant?
  3. You should be looking for new equipment.
  4. Igor says thanks.
  5. It can be a ballache and/or a joy. We walk Igor at 6.15 when he does his ablutions, then he’s in the Ranger at 7.30 ready to go to work. Another walk at tea break (10.30) one at lunchtime, usually home by three, then guess what? He wants a walk! Bloody knee killing me atm, but off we go, limping round the village. Love the little fella, but he’ll be our last I reckon.
  6. Be a hard swerve from me.
  7. Circling the drain I see. Won’t be long.
  8. Oooh edgy! #edgelord.
  9. Remarkable machine. Best chipper I’ve ever owned or used.
  10. What TW is that?
  11. It’s very common in France to plant 3 birch in a triangle as little as a mètre apart. The grow away from each other, rarely even a crossing branch.
  12. Not in my experience.
  13. Neither had I, really should cancel my direct debits.
  14. Tbh it just seems like a bit of a winge, which is fair enough. Of course you can run it and be on the tools, most of us do. Sometimes it seems too much, but it’s only trees, they can wait.
  15. Ok, now I understand.
  16. x.com X.COM When the replies didn’t go the way you’d hoped..
  17. @Doug Tait Come on down! And happy birthday btw

  19. Saw one around Chichester cathedral 2003 ish.
  20. Peregrines? You sure about that?
  21. Wordle 1,258 4/6 ⬜🟩🟩⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟩⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 pleased.
  22. Don’t know if they can or not. However the threat of years of expensive legal strife followed by a bill for underpinning you neighbours house will focus your attention.
  23. Well, if after 30 years in the trade my own brother doubted my counsel, I’d be rather miffed to put it mildly.
