  1. In fairness their backer is shinasdfghhjkk refdgghjklll or something like that a Thai billionaire.
  2. Yes but Crouch was good, consistently scored goals throughout his career, wherever he played.
  3. Mark Hateley 'n' all. Thing is with Dafoe is he's only 33. Has scored key goals regularly for a rubbish side, taken purely on form and goals scored he'd be in the running. He won't go I know, but Carroll is a bloody useless lump, good championship player (where he had his only decent season)
  4. Vardy, Kane, Sturridge Rooney will be the four strikers I reckon. I reckon Defoe has more right to a ticket than Carroll.
  5. Yeah, picked up a dubious yellow, then dived. Deserved IMO.
  6. I wouldn't go that far, but I cannot believe how overrated he is. He scores a few goals and all of a sudden he's unplayable, and he should be with England in the Euros.
  7. Maybe the penalty was a little soft, But as Roy Keane once said, he (Andy Carroll) gave the referee the opportunity to give a penalty. Classic Centre Forward defending in his own box. The dream goes on.....
  8. Just spotted the sausages, now I know why they're hopeful.
  9. Just because they're cheaper than you doesn't make them no good. What difference does the rot make? It's coming out anyway. You're coming across a bit whiny IMO.
  10. Funny stand up talks about phones, gave me a laugh.
  11. Was very helpful and patient with me. Happy and long retirement.
  12. Nothing wrong with Landscaping and Tree Services. Do you do fencing? Throw that on there as well. Once you start putting patio cleaning and stuff it dilutes the brand IMO.
  13. Well I didn't like to say, but you're right Jon. Pick up a second hand echo or something to keep the money coming in. Fortune favours the well prepared.
  14. Diesels need more poke (battery wise) to turn over than petrol engines, just follow their advice, change the battery. Ps I've an st8 but it's only done 15 hrs.
  15. Yes it needs to come out, if you prune it it will only make it angry. Very fast growing so could damage your garage sooner rather than later. Poison the stump after to prevent possible sprouting. Approximate cost £200.
  16. Slings and krabs would be better, but it's usually done (by me anyway) as a spur of the moment thing, if the groundie is emptying the van or otherwise distracted. So I wouldn't have any slings on me. Any dropped off? Probably, but I'd never do it over a high value target. Usually just to prevent a limb from "spronging" into something or to lay it onto a shrub rather than smash it.
  17. There is a way around that. If you're lowering a branch, pass the end of the rope through a fork of the branch to be lowered, then tie one end to another branch or trunk. The other end you wrap around a stub or similar, cut the branch and it will hang, then undo the rope around the stub, lower until it hits the ground, then undo the tied end and pull through back up the tree. If you don't understand I've got pictures.
  18. We've discussed this before, with a tracked machine you're effectively buying two machines, the chipper and the tracking unit with all that involves.
  19. It was only an example, I didn't mean that particular lorry.
  20. DAF 45.150 LORRY 7.5 TONNE TIPPER LONG MOT | eBay It's just that 7.5 tonners are so cheap (relatively speaking) so having forked out for such a great chipper....... Different strokes and all that.
  21. It would be interesting to do a comparison. I think I paid 11000 plus vat in 2003 for a 150. (Maybe I'm just a bit richer now, or less poor anyway!)
