  1. I've had mine over a year, first saw out of the work shop every morning. Great ground saw, light, fast, well balanced. No problems as yet.
  2. Nice gear, nice day. Good pics.
  3. Ford Ranger Forum UK I always find these sort of forums handy for my vehicles.
  4. Ranieri was manager of Chelsea for 3 and a half years. He's done well and done badly at other clubs (and the Greek national side) He was presumably very very well paid, for me it's not about redemption for Ranieri. Ps I know, I'm not letting it go!
  5. It was last nights hot button subject, tonight it's all about how far one walks mowing a lawn. It's a fast paced crazy whirlwind. Hang on to your hat!
  6. That's a lots of walking, you lawn jockeys earn your money.
  7. In fairness, Jose won two consecutive titles after he replaced Ranieri.
  8. I'll rig often when I could drop it. You can stand the branch on its tip, hold it there, then lower gently whilst the groundies pull the butt end toward the chipper. All self lowering, natural crotch. It's quicker, and easier for everyone.
  9. Well as it stands they've done it, terrific achievement,. Chelsea, difficult to like as usual.
  10. That's a reasonable standpoint. Not without merit.
  11. Explain how possibly, and not without some sadness, losing some trees in the middle of fields (what I imagine you meant by "agricultural trees") is causing all those things.
  12. Well they've got to take their chances if they're in an agricultural field. As has been said they were planted and or left as shelter/shade for stock, as farming practices and our food demands have changed. Rather than spending time and money (and hand wringing) on these trees (by which I mean trees in fields on agricultural land) I say concentrate resources on planting. The aforementioned trees will look after themselves, or they won't.
  13. Here's another one I know well, in a wheat field.
  14. These trees are in a field on a farm where I grew up. The remnants of an old hedge line that was grubbed up in the 50/60s I remember they grew wheat every year in that field before the Common Agricultural Policy. This presumably meant ploughing. I'm not suggesting it did the trees a lot of good but is it really a death sentence?
  15. I would say that the prospect of urban TOs strolling around farmland lecturing farmers is an amusing one.
  16. It's an interesting discussion, personally I like to set a date as soon as I get a yes, either on the visit if I get an immediate go ahead, or on the confirming phone call. I think I do this because it keeps the conversations to a minimum. Plus it's easier to organise things if it's already in the diary. The other way has its merits certainly.
  17. In his heart of hearts, Fergie must be pissing himself laughing.
  18. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/01/sports/soccer/how-leicester-city-went-right-side-up.html?_r=0 Some perspective From the New York Times on the (Fingers crossed!) achievement.
  19. I've seen pittosporum used to good effect in large planters in Horsham town centre.
  20. [ame]https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WqsEBkTWc8s&feature=youtu.be[/ame]
  21. I can't comment about categories because I know nothing about it. It interests me that it's called a lapsed pollard which suggests some sort of historic management program. In all probability this is just a topped sycamore ignored for 25 years. Goes to show that some of the horror pictures posted of hammered trees are not the end of the world for some of the victims. All in all a nice tree though.
