  1. WoW! Think the driver was ok, saw him stand up. No wind, nothing, totally random.
  2. Vicers? Freudien slip?
  3. Stuttering, but a few jobs in lately. No real cause for concern atm.
  4. I think that was my point.
  5. Is this concentrated campaign against the trans community (whatever the fook that is) really a swipe at Nicola Sturgeon who has (erroneously from a political point of view) nailed her colours to the cause?
  6. Was he born a greengrocer or something? Ridiculous hyperbole referring to him as a Trans-butcher.
  7. I only opened two, but looks like a white poplar (populous alba) from those.
  8. Thanks for the update.
  9. I buy boots, don’t know their name maybe Glorious Wings (niche His Dark Materials reference) I never do anything to them except replace the laces periodically. If they make a year, I’m happy.
  10. And that’s why we love it!
  11. If you charged £1450
  12. What aspect of having a truck and chipper is a mystery to you? Do you have work lined up?
  13. The cartoon expresses my position.
  14. According to my computer 21 mpg over the 12 months I’ve had it.
  15. That seems entirely logical.
  16. 5.7 Hemi, certainly sounds nice. He bought it for towing, something I imagine it does effortlessly.
  17. It has its place. Should Oxbridge select it’s students purely on exam results, in which case public school kids would take the huge majority of places based on the parents ability to pay for private education? Or should the children, equally as gifted, but who went to state schools, be denied top university places because of understandably less impressive numbers?
  18. Brother in law came up in the Dodge Ram, let me have a go. Very, very, fast, but surprisingly basic. Fuel economy, bearing in mind he uses ethanol, better than my Ranger. Very nice, but I’ll pass (unless he sells it to me in a year dirt cheap!)
  19. NAS was a spin off of Rotatech, after a while they jacked in the NSA part of it and concentrated on the core business, chipper blade's etc. of Rotatech. That was my understanding of it.
  20. Some days sneak up on you, starts off a bit glum then the sun comes out, the machines work great, everything really falls into place, and you drive home in a good mood. This was the last stem of a 4 stem white poplar, the rest was partly rigged, this one fell on its sword easy enough. IMG_2650.MOV
  21. After years of being B in Stephen Blair’s photo, I am now firmly an A. Thanks mostly to an insistence by my accountant for monthly figures, receipts and invoices. I pay VAT monthly. Being crap at this stuff doesn’t make you a hero or a free spirit, it means you’re not doing your job as a self employed/business owner.
  22. I’m as guilty as anyone of this. Good reminder, thanks, and best of luck in your recovery.
