I have a nephew diagnosed as autistic, the mother was over the moon about it, absolutely no effing way he was. All grown up now, doing great, no talk of autism.

The average age of mothers is 3 years older than in 1991. 27.7 in 91 compared to 30.9 now. so there’s that.

They always were Steve, they just weren’t diagnosed. I went to school with autistic kids, we called them weird or whatever. Now they have a name that’s all.

It was linked to autism by people who were wrong.

Saw on the googlebox that the Indian and Pakistani communities don’t get their kids vaxxed cos they think it contains pork or something. Lots of clusters in the West Midlands…nudge nudge.

We hear that side to it for sure. But Russia has lots of men and control over the narrative internally. It’s a war of attrition now, as you said, there’s no movement in the lines. Glad I’m not there!

I think he’ll just wash his hands of it, withdraw funding, leave Ukraine with no option but to accept terms with the loss of territory. Russia claims a win, Ukraine joins NATO. Onto the next one.

On Twitter the Russians are very bullish. Trying to paint this as them against everyone, they took particular umbrage at German tanks being used the the Ukrainian forces. Using that to link this conflict (historically speaking) to WW11, painting themselves as fighting fascism etc. They’re deep in denial, no telling what they might do. Imho they’re hanging in for a Trump victory.

I read a lot about this stuff (on the internet) doesn’t mean I know any more than anyone else of course, just that I don’t waste my time doing anything meaningful or constructive when I finish work early, just doomscroll till the wife comes home. Anyway, one thing I have learnt, is that Poland is armed to the teeth with modern weapons and aircraft, has historical trust issues with Russia and is fully prepared to engage should it spread. Just an observation.
