  1. I suppose it depends on what you explorations into the plaster reveals.
  2. Well then I dunno. I doubt it, but it depends.
  3. Depends, builders have materials, wages on a job that might take weeks/months to complete. By and large we just have to make sure the chippers/trucks and combi cans are full
  4. Generally, people pay. The figures we charge for domestic work are not worth not paying if you know what I mean. If you’re getting an extension done for 20 or more thousand, people can get funny. I’ve been genuinely stiffed just once in 30 odd years.
  5. Wordle 1,059 3/6 🟩⬜🟨🟨⬜ 🟩⬜🟨🟨⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 nice.
  6. It’s a poplar. Doesn’t look too bad. Wait and see.
  7. [email protected] Send an email (change capitals to lower case)
  8. No reported issues. Got your password right?
  9. The ‘palm tree’ is a trachycarpus, unlikely to be causing an issue. Cherries do have long roots that sit just under the surface, often causing problems for mower blades. I think I can see one going towards your house in the photo.
  10. Not an unreasonable question.
  11. Prolly, and with a round anvil as well. Lift the cover and take a pic for us.
  12. I’ll send a message. Still works for me.
  13. Wordle 1,058 5/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜🟨 ⬜🟨🟨⬜⬜ ⬜🟨⬜🟩🟩 🟩🟨⬜🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 four was possible, five (considering the start)ok.
  14. @eggsarascal you used to work with a tarmac gang in your youth didn’t you? Question. How come on some stretches of road/motorway there’s sections with loads of random black lines of tar, like a toddlers scribble all over? I can’t see how it’s filling in cracks, they’re too random. All over the carriage way, then, nothing, clean as as a whistle.
  15. Amalanchier?
  16. What happened on line 4?
  17. Think he’s been kicked out anyway.
  18. It’s approaching critical mass these days. Rylan, Scott Mills and that awful traffic wanker from Radio 1 out there all week, as Chandler would say ‘Could it be any more Gay?’ Anyway I suspect some fun and games tonight with the Israeli contestant. Can you imagine if she won or did well? Ireland’s queer witch would explode.
  19. Never hired a crane. If I did, I’d get a signed acceptance of the quote with terms and conditions etc. Occasionally I have hired cherry pickers or traffic control. I have always just paid it and made the client pay on the invoice. edit. on reflection in the crane scenario a grand up front might be a good idea.
  20. Never taken them, never will.
  21. Ahh, yes, perhaps. A joke that the older sorts didn’t get, makes sense.
  22. Old fella?
  23. Dunno, I’d be a bit unhappy about people speculating about my finances on here.
  24. Wordle 1,057 3/6 ⬜🟨⬜⬜⬜ 🟩⬜🟨🟨🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 lucky second line, but didn’t waste it. Happy.
