  2. Hmm, not the greatest ad for the log-bullet.
  3. Can I ask what is baffling? I’m not following here.
  4. I was pricing with a client today, sunny but we were in the shade. I suddenly felt cold, and realised I hadn’t felt cold in months! Bloody luxury!
  5. Then they should buy something else. Gamekeepers are not really a demographic that manufacturers consider as important I reckon.
  6. No offence, but don’t talk daft, you’re not stuck, or if you are, it’s only in your head. Pick ups these days are better than 20 years ago.
  7. Igor is now a marketing asset.
  8. I remember back in the late 90s Richard Court was importing a few JBM chippers. He used to say the build quality was top notch (and he should know) Couldn’t compete on price with TW etc. so never got a foothold in UK in the same way as Schliesing has I guess.
  9. Don’t be daft Stu, get the exterminator at the client’s expense, €200 max.
  10. Had to come off this job today, Asiatic Hornet’s nest up there, size of a volleyball, still swarming in and around it. Lucky I saw it.
  11. I had to unload 50k of Multione loader from the back of an articulated lorry onto an Ifor Williams trailer then off that onto terra firma. So I was driving it into space (well 5ft off the ground) Did not like,. The issue of course is ensuring the ramps didn’t move when I edged the machine onto them, once firmly on them it was ok.
  12. Looking at the moss at the junction I’d bet it’d be more likely to fail where I arrowed.
  13. I’d say that’s a wound from a vehicle(s)that has hit it in the past. It’s an old cherry tree, impossible to say when or if the branch will fail, but I agree, I’d not want to park a car underneath on a regular basis. Why not get the branch cut off?
  14. Personally, that’s enough for me. Still blanket coverage on all the telly news channels. There’s other news going on in the world. Funeral is on the 19th we’ll come back to it then.
  15. Why not just apply to have any reasonable work done on the trees as and when? Explain to your neighbour that you have to apply for permission.
  16. What your motive? Do you want to remove the trees?
  17. Well yes, understood. Twitter isn’t really a media outlet, it’s individual posters/tweeters, now no doubt there’s plenty of lies, but sifting through what’s definitively disproven and what is/isn’t denied you can learn a lot.
  18. Trying to decipher what I’m reading on Twitter (what to believe or not) the word ‘rout’ is being used a lot. Could be moving into a decisive few days.
  19. They made a mistake cancelling the footy. Would have been a chance for peeps to show their respect etc. look at what happened this morning before the cricket.
  20. Seems like a counter offensive by Ukrainian forces is underway and gaining ground fast. We’ll see how far it gets.
  21. Yes, I had a few issues with the MO, and the dealer (who is the other side of the country) repeatedly let me down, so I found out there’s a dealer for Avant In the next town. So I went for a clean break, bought this, sold the MO Nothing against the MO, just complete breakdown in trust.
