    Only ‘real’ concert I’ve ever been to was Kylie Minogue at the O2 circa 2003 Was a birthday present to the wife from her sister, we’d just started going out together so I had to go along. Bloody awful. Apart from the women there were two sorts of blokes there, bored husbands/boyfriends and homosexual men (I’m aware in a Venn diagram there would have been some overlap) Worst bit was when they all sang Happy Birthday to her.

    I’m pretty sure populations of wasps are cyclical in their abundance, this year seems to be a big year for them. The desensitizing thing is (according to the specialist I spoke to about the bee allergy) is time consuming and at that time it involved a drug from America that they weren’t releasing. Get tested, get an epi-pen and display plenty of caution around the subject.

    The language thing is an argument I’ve heard before, but I don’t see it. Are you really going to risk your life (and that of your wife and kids) go into debt or give your life savings to gangsters to get on an inflatable to cross the channel just because you don’t want to lean French?

    Well perhaps, but this sort of stuff is trotted out to distrust or discredit cash as a means to get goods and services. You got your hair cut for a tenner? Good for you, the rest is HMRCs business.

    I’d actively avoid a supermarket that only takes cards/chèques, but not before I’d informed them why. The freedom to spend your money, where and on what you want without third parties monitoring and recording the information must not be given away.

    Yeah saw that. No crime committed apparently. interesting conundrum really. The Sun claims he was sending money to a 17 year old for explicit pics. Who is old enough to remember when the same paper had a countdown to Sam Fox being 16 so we could see her tits on page 3? Notwithstanding him being a married (to a woman) man with 5 kids of course.

    Just because they are not shot at doesn’t mean they’re not wary of people. It’s kind of their job to distrust any potential threat. Buzzard, kites and other raptors have been protected for years, doesn’t mean they’re strolling round the lawn playing with the kids toys does it? Imo the animal is old or ill or suchlike.

    Fair point. When we use the loader, there’s always a guy beside the chipper making sure it goes in ok.

    Whilst there are a few Americans on here, by and large this site is frequented by Brits and Europeans, so not many will have much familiarity with the species your growing or their problems. Could get lucky though.

    Prigozhin is in Russia according to reliable sources. What is he doing there? Why hasn’t Putin had him arrested? (He was supposed to stay in Belarus) Is he a bad faith actor against Putin ie. is he organising a coup or has he been forgiven? There doesn’t seem to be a rational explanation. Answers on a postcard please…
