    The dress!

I saw it as white/gold, then went back for another look (it's a nice dress) and see it as blue/black. What's that all about??
  6. Having regrets are we, or just a little bitter??
  7. At the end of the game, pawn and king go back in the same box.
  8. You won't need a new worm drive, just a new sprocket. The 3/8 sprocket for the 560 fits straight on a 550xp for the same conversion.
  9. Happy too get old, but I refuse to grow up. Never trust a fart and never waste a hard-on. (Jack Nicholson)
  10. Cheers chaps. Yes it is a 1489. Looks like I will get the US ones then.
  11. I found yellow snow once, which made an unusual cup of tea
  12. I do mine sort of like that. I am splitting next years now. I have a floor of pallets and line the walls with pallets to allow a little more airflow. When the pile gets about 3 feet deep, I lay more pallets on top and then repeat throwing the split logs on. It's not as ideal as vented nets or pallet boxes, or even stacked billets, but it seems to work ok for me.
  13. You need to clear your messages (again)
  14. She's not as tubby as the photo makes her. Her back end suffered from muscle wastage from being in kennels and the pound, which makes the rest of her look a little out of proportion.
  15. I do get up your way, well, Norfolk, from time to time. Not sure about the murder bit though!!!!
  16. Greyhound asleep as usual, staffie slow cooking and cat having a snooze.
  17. Turning snow into a girl qualifies me as a wizard doesn't it??
  18. ......on my girlfriend
  19. My splitter. Rear axle raises and lowers, nice big work table and powered by 13hp honda.
  20. Absolutely chucking it down and has been since about 10.30 this morning. Been in the barn splitting a few, took two reluctant dogs out and now in front of the wood burner
  21. Not suggesting you do this obviously, because it probably isn't safe and obviously I haven't done it but TCT table saw blades are very effective at clearing smaller saplings.
  22. I like the way you are hoping to make "progress"!!
  23. What is the hot start mod, just out of interest. My 2 year old saw starts fine hot, but would be nice to know.
  24. They will be out in leaf soon, so get yourself a good ID book and get used to what the leafs' look like and also the bark patterns and textures.
