8. Simple 75g SR flour 25g suet, either beef or veg salt and pepper teaspoon parsley, optional cold water mix dry ingrediants. make into light dough with water, not to wet. Divide into as many balls as you like, 2/4/6, depends how big you want them, they will swell when cooked. Pop them into the stew for approx. 20 mins, stick a knife in them, if it comes out dry they are done
9. Had a demo on one at wilsons, once you get used to that long op lever, but we bought the ks35s with the joysticks in the end. Cut about 100t softwood so far no probs also done about 25t hardwood. If you were near you would be welcome to come and try it. Google palax ks35 ergo and there is an American review vid

18.
Hi ross, dug it out this am and instruction book, it is classed as Oregon mini grinder, bar mounted. As long as postage cost is covered you can have it. Either royal mail or you can organise hermes to pick it up. Richard 1234 as shown an interest as well, so let me know, thanks, Nigel

19. My maths are crap at the best of times, and I passed, as others have said there are basic calculations and sheets to work it out. Just listen and ask if not sure, the chap is there to help you pass. Good luck, and the next time you are on here we want to hear you passed.
20. Got a faithfull one off ebay about £40, does a job. Lurking in the back of the cupboard I have an Oregon electric one that clamps to the bar, never used, cannot fathom out instructions, anyone can have it for the cost of postage
21. Have you been to riflecraft yet? Spent a fortune there years ago, .220 swift and 30.06
22. No, biggest was a 338 lapau, well small arm, biggest was a 105 artillery gun. I think there is a place in wales you can go and shoot long range at metal plates.
23. The 684 is as rusty as hell, she will lift the palax but has a broken lift arm so have some old chain wrapped round. Could do with a front weight. Like to put her in shed when it gets cold as she a sod to start then.
24. Sorry Metsaman, seemed to have derailed your thread:damnmate:
