  2. Unlike the sunflower hearts the missus ordered for the little birdies, took 2 weeks to arrive, apparently they had been sitting at the kilmarnock depot of yodel for 1 week.

Then getting your oh to do the same, she has to be firm though, if she is worried about a bite wear a welding gaunlet. It may help Our dogs know were the bosses, then we have had all from pups.

  11. Have you tried asking Morley Stoves at Ware for advice, they were great help when me mates dad fitted a stove, i can remember them supplying a metal shield thingy as it came out a ground floor extension.

  14. Same here, used to cook breakfast for parents at weekends at 12, had to prepare veg for dinner during school holidays. Help with the baking on sunday mornings. We were taught to use the sewing machine and how to knit, oh and darn your own socks. I know you would'nt get away with it now, but parents used to go to my elder sisters in manchester for a week and leave me and younger brother at home to fend for ourselves. We survived. We were 13 and 14.
  15. The missus cant do a steak to save her life, so i always do them, rib eye steaks from aldi by far the best. A good roast dinner, macaroni cheese, simple but easy and filling.

    Making an effort this year, and took the missus to the garden centre and bought some really nice decs and also ordered some ecodecs from mike. The mrs is a bit worried i might have had a bang to the head. Weds week cut down a tree and decorate that for the big house ready for the xmas and new year holiday lets. The trees we have here loose their needles very quick.
