  1. AIA annual investment allowance. I contract hire depends what you do after your payment term as much as anything. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  2. Good mowers all round from people I know who have them. Drive issues being the main problems as with most mowers. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  3. Doesn't help your choice but I've been using the weibang pro mulcher this year and yes it's heavy for a mower without a roller or collection system but it leaves a great finish Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  4. Fair enough [emoji16] post back with some feedback though as I'm interested in getting one for hedge season this autumn Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  5. Is that the telescopic one? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  6. I do wonder where all this lithium is going to appear from though! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  7. It could well be it's also the same weight as the 360 I think. Just a bigger bore on the engine I'd imagine Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  8. No idea to be honest as I've never put one on it as I don't do enough thick stuff to bother. I just put a jet fit with some flexi blade. I think you would need to change the guard too? 2.7hp I think so should run one fine I would think. I do keep a Kawasaki 53cc with one on it which is only 2hp and that is fine as well when it comes out briefly now and then Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  9. I run a couple of fs410s good all round machines though not as powerful as the 560. Can work all day though without feeling like you carried a breeze block around all day Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  10. Electric choppers in France? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-40518293 Just seen this and wonder what exemptions there will be! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  11. Keep it quiet[emoji850][emoji850][emoji850][emoji850] Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  12. I guess it depends what you are happy with. I would not use my truck for someone else for 45p a mile (a one off is different) besides if they need another vehicle full time they should just buy one if they think that they can run one on 45p then they should run it themselves. Not wanting to sound like a lefty but if you work for someone full time they should provide everything all you should do is turn up on time and do a good job Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  13. That's the point! At 45p per mile towing heavy trailer he makes nothing! All he gets in return is a knackered truck! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  14. For me it's not about covering costs it's about the value it adds to the business. You can't buy and run a truck for 45p a mile. Why should the op subsidise his "employers" business? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  15. That's true but that's for your own business isn't it? Your paying the mots etc. Would you do the same for someone else? I wouldn't Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  16. I personally think you hold the cards here! If they want you plus truck they need to pay a decent rate. However if you "need" the work then it swings back in their favour! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  17. My truck costs about 20p per mile in fuel alone towing my 14ft trailer if that helps any Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  18. Pieces of conveyor belt type material works well stopping stuff. I've got a really thick piece in front of the oil sump on the mowers to stop stones punching a hole in it! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  19. Does it need massive hydro pressure to make the winch pull? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  20. That's a tough one but on the other hand we would not put a dog or cat through it we would help them go peacefully. Don't see what it's got to do with trump though! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  21. So you need all the space of a hard top? Would a roller shutter do the job? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  22. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/politics/2017/mar/06/jeremy-corbyn-tax-return-is-complete-and-accurate-office-says Are you sure they don't pay tax on salary? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  23. How much do you think the job should pay? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  24. This http://www.parliament.uk/about/faqs/house-of-commons-faqs/members-faq-page2/#jump-link-17 Would suggest they don't pay tax is a myth. if that were true it would put them on reasonable money but nothing excessive for the job they are supposed to be doing imo Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  25. Maybe it should, maybe it would concentrate people's minds on being able to afford to look after kids before having them? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
