  1. I thought it had a five year shelf life? If so you could easily end up using winter grade in the summer and vice versa? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  2. A million pound (or 13) flat it seems Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  3. The flats probably were not finished as when finished they would have been made to pay full council tax, now they should be made to pay that if they want to keep them empty as that is their choice to do that. But to ban it would be worse in my opinion. I wonder how far through parliament a law banning empty houses would get? Do you see ANY of the parties getting that pushed through? 4. It's been broken for a long long long time. There has always been and always will be expensive houses probably empty ones too. I don't know many/any that could afford one but I'm not sure why that matters either? Probably stood empty as they want a return on an investment (as any sane person would) and they aren't getting that from the banks are they! Helping the poor is a good idea but stealing from the rich (stealing is bad yes?) is the wrong answer. The poor (if you can truly say that there are truly poor people here when you look around the world) need to be pushed and helped to make their lives better. Just my opinion and it would not work I'm sure Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  5. Serious question. Why do you care if a flat is on sale for £13M? It should make no difference to you how much someone else pays for somewhere to live. In my opinion. Personally I would not pay anything to live in London as it's a dump but that's just my opinion too[emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  6. One thing I've not worked out is why dealers push it? Yes they may make a bit on it but not much in the scheme of the business? If it's that good and stops machines breaking then how is it good for business? Genuine question as I can't get my head round it! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  7. That's true. I'm going to be having the old stiga that he has replaced with the new one. It's a good few years old now but will suit one site I've got that has room to store it. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  8. If you've done 72 hours already I think you may have bought the wrong machine. The petrol stiga is not a full blown commercial machine in my opinion. Good mowers no doubt my dads just bought a new one probably the same one as he paid about £8k for it and that's for a couple of hours a week at most. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  9. What's an electrical tree?........ sounds dangerous [emoji16][emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  10. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-40317341 How was this possible? It's worrying that a war ship can't look where it's going! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  11. Don't know! I still want to know how much is too much as well[emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  12. That would have been stupid. Presumably someone on site thought better! Don't get me wrong I'm not saying management is always right, I had lots of arguments with them when I was employed! I do think that someone has to be in charge though. Including corybn if that had been the choice the country made, not that I would of been happy about it not that I'm happy now! I voted for an independent as I was peed Of with the big parties Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  13. Fair enough. Just explain what this manager got wrong with that job in simple words for me as I'm confused what the mistake was not that they made one! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  14. In this post. As you were "on the tools" I assumed that the manager was paid more since you said "do you think that a manager that doesn't know the job gets paid more than the lads on the tools" Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  15. Still no answer in what they did wrong! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  16. When did I say they didn't get it wrong? I said I don't understand what they got wrong! Perhaps the manager should have had the relevant qualities for the job? That falls to whoever employed them. Besides one minute eggs is saying that the managers got paid more then decided that he got paid more. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  17. I do see the rest I just think you are wrong. The whole idea means that people are punished for trying to better themselves, it's stupid. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  18. So am I Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  19. I don't really understand what you are trying to say they did wrong (the managers) But the suggestion you are making is that the business owner (for example)should earn nothing and the tea person should be the highest paid? Do you really think that the management should be paid less than the people they have to manage? If you really believe that you are more extreme than Jeremy! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  20. I think on balance a manager should be paid more than people "on the tools" What is going on in big business all over the country? Or do you mean management getting paid more than "workers"? Really? Why is this going to hit my pocket? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  21. Sorry Dan your wrong Jeremy says so!!! [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16][emoji16][emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  22. Is it? Personally I don't care how much money anyone else has it's really non of my business! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  23. The rich getting richer the poor getting poorer is one of labours and its supporters favourite lines! So I'll ask again how much is too much? Labour want everyone to earn £10 an hour so how much should a brain surgeons wages go up by? Should they get a 33% rise as well? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  24. How much is too much money wise? I'm sure some people would think my household income is too much yet I'm not going on holidays or going out eating in nice restaurants etc. Who decides how much is too much? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  25. I'm fairly sure you don't need to do the "proper" training by law. I don't think insurance companies would be happy though! Could be completely wrong though Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
