  1. It's still a frightening amount of money. I just don't see how making it worse will help? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  2. You rely think the government gave him a pay rise? Or was it the company he works for? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  3. It's not been tripled then has it? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  4. I've just found this one [http://www.ukpublicspending.co.uk/uk_national_debt_chart.html[/url] That looks like it's just over doubled since 2009. Why do labour still think spending ever more money will bring it down? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  5. I don't know how true that chart on the last page is but it does not show debt tripling since 2010 Also if they had kept labours spending up how many times would the debt how gone up by now? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  6. That along with paying for labours commitments and bailing the banks (and clearing houses that managed to change garbage loans into grade a ones somehow)that had little to no supervision from the government (read labour but the conservatives get some blame here too) And you have a massive problem inherited Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  7. Why have they had to borrow so much? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  8. I think you do talk some sense but this is bonkers. If I spend too much and then can't pay my mortgage for example soon I will be homeless. Spending billions when we have not paid for the last lot of billions that labour spent would be beyond stupid. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  9. Speak to someone who knows better but I'm sure you can keep it for google ranking (have it divert to some other name) but also use something easier to type at the same time if that makes sense? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  10. Not bad at all. I would be changing the web address though as typing countrysidetreeand gardenseevices.co.uk without making a mistake is difficult on a phone for anyone with fat fingers like me. Edit I got it wrong even when trying hard! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  11. That's it now you have convinced me let's lock them all up and throw away the key. Then when their brother in arms come let's do the same thing again and again. One problem is that muslims know there is a growing number of people like you that insult their way of life and generally hate them. I'm sure the first thing they think is let's be nice to those people. If you said to me ALL religions should be banned I'd agree with you because they are all fairy tales imo Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  12. Can we assume you are talking about yourself there? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  13. https://www.cps.gov.uk/publications/prosecution/rrpbcrbook_annex_a.html An interesting read for you and your friends Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  14. I do see where you are coming from. People round here get really stroppy if village verges/greens etc don't get cut regularly. I think to these people it's something visible for their council tax. Yet for other like you it's a waste of money! I know I make money from it but I do think that it's good value for residents who do get a say if they choose on how many cuts the villages get. Even the ones with lots of cuts works out at less than £10 per year per household. That said there are bits on these contracts that make even me standing to gain work scratching my head thinking what's the point of that! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  15. I for one am pleased they still cut the verges on main roads as the Lincolnshire roads are shocking and without the cuts you would go from seeing very little to noting at all in a few weeks Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  16. And that won't cause any problems at all will it! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  17. The problem i see is that the far right was and still is racist. No amount of terrorism is going to change that. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  18. Surely that's the point. A subbie needs to be at least as good if not better than the in house people as bad work will ruin a company far quicker than good work will make one Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  19. What's the difference between freelance and bona fida sub contractor? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  20. That's just the different mindset of an employee to a sole trader/ employer. Being your own boss is not for everyone. Working paye is not for everyone either Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  21. That's all well and good but it was still half a million to widen a road by 8 feet give or take for 100 yards. It's bonkers. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  22. No it's not the fault of the lads "doing the work" I just think the numbers are mind blowing for what was actually achieved! It was not a dig at the workforce more the contractor/ council for agreeing to do the work at huge costs. Unless the conduit etc is made from platinum[emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  23. It does make me wonder if the ones who complain about being undercut are the ones struggling? Besides it's no good having a rate of £500 (pick a number) and being sat at home as it's too expensive Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  24. As long as the staff get £250-300 a day Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
