  1. Don't know! I still want to know how much is too much as well[emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  2. That would have been stupid. Presumably someone on site thought better! Don't get me wrong I'm not saying management is always right, I had lots of arguments with them when I was employed! I do think that someone has to be in charge though. Including corybn if that had been the choice the country made, not that I would of been happy about it not that I'm happy now! I voted for an independent as I was peed Of with the big parties Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  3. Fair enough. Just explain what this manager got wrong with that job in simple words for me as I'm confused what the mistake was not that they made one! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  4. In this post. As you were "on the tools" I assumed that the manager was paid more since you said "do you think that a manager that doesn't know the job gets paid more than the lads on the tools" Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  5. Still no answer in what they did wrong! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  6. When did I say they didn't get it wrong? I said I don't understand what they got wrong! Perhaps the manager should have had the relevant qualities for the job? That falls to whoever employed them. Besides one minute eggs is saying that the managers got paid more then decided that he got paid more. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  7. I do see the rest I just think you are wrong. The whole idea means that people are punished for trying to better themselves, it's stupid. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  8. So am I Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  9. I don't really understand what you are trying to say they did wrong (the managers) But the suggestion you are making is that the business owner (for example)should earn nothing and the tea person should be the highest paid? Do you really think that the management should be paid less than the people they have to manage? If you really believe that you are more extreme than Jeremy! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  10. I think on balance a manager should be paid more than people "on the tools" What is going on in big business all over the country? Or do you mean management getting paid more than "workers"? Really? Why is this going to hit my pocket? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  11. Sorry Dan your wrong Jeremy says so!!! [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16][emoji16][emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  12. Is it? Personally I don't care how much money anyone else has it's really non of my business! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  13. The rich getting richer the poor getting poorer is one of labours and its supporters favourite lines! So I'll ask again how much is too much? Labour want everyone to earn £10 an hour so how much should a brain surgeons wages go up by? Should they get a 33% rise as well? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  14. How much is too much money wise? I'm sure some people would think my household income is too much yet I'm not going on holidays or going out eating in nice restaurants etc. Who decides how much is too much? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  15. I'm fairly sure you don't need to do the "proper" training by law. I don't think insurance companies would be happy though! Could be completely wrong though Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  16. The main reason I thought about terrorism is that I turned the news on this morning to see a burning tower in London. Unfortunately in these times we live in that was the first thought. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  17. It does make you wonder about terrorism. Does not look good at all, Horrible thing and best wishes to all involved. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  19. Apparently not labour thinks they have won and so do the snp. May is acting like she's lost after winning the most seats. All very odd[emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  20. How is taking half (or more) of one persons money and nothing from others fair? The top 10% pay more tax than the rest combined. Where is the incentive to do well for yourself and your family if you have corybn come knocking (or any party for that matter) when you've worked hard and made a successful life for you and your family? I do think some of his ideas are good in principle in reality who pays for it? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  21. Next you will be saying we should put something in people's food to stop them having children. Oh wait ....... Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  22. I don't recall voting for a hard, soft or par boiled brexit. I was under the impression that leave meant leave and stay meant stay! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  23. No don't bother just sack him and the government can pay it all. You save 350 he gets his 400 everyone's happy except your clients who get nowt done. So you think I know I'll push my wage bill too high and pay him the £400 myself and 3 months later you're both at the job centre as you've gone bankrupt but that's ok as it felt good while it lasted. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  24. I think we will have to agree to disagree on this! I left loads of jobs when I was younger to get better wages. People should try and control their own future not wait for ANY government to do it for them. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  25. No why? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
