  1. I'd say if you are labour shadow home Secutary then you should be using public services not going private. Not a crime no but hardly putting their message across is it? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  2. How much you looking for for the brushcutter? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  3. My point being that lots of people thinking something or someone is great does not make it true. I really believe the man is dangerous but she's no better it's almost like having no choice at all this time! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  4. There's a few thousand on the watch list are they not deluded? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  5. That you should change your ways[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  6. I would go round them too maybe no one see them but the bees will like them and I don't see any harm in leaving them. That said in one of the villages I do there is a really dull bit of a footpath that always gets cow parsley I left it first year as I thought it looked ok ( better than the scrubland behind it anyway!) Well big mistake I got moaned at and kept being reminded to take the stuff down. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  7. The most is about 12 twelve miles most of it within 5 miles parts are between an hour and an hour and a half (round trip if they are not busy)depending on traffic. 10 miles or about 15 10 mile place is across town so I normally go the 15 mile one as it's normally quicker. 8. I'm not sure how true the info in the links is somewhere near the mark I would think. As for pushing lawnmowers around a village it shows you know as much about how I do things as I know about collecting parts! This is much easier[emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  10. That's not true. Look how much the welfare state costs us. https://www.theguardian.com/news/datablog/2013/jan/08/uk-benefit-welfare-spending Compared to £58 a year EU wide on CAP. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/06/13/what-would-brexit-mean-for-farmers-and-the-common-agricultural-p/amp/ I'm not against the "little man" I just think he should be trying to help himself instead of getting others to do it for him (unions etc) Your scenario of waiting for parts fits this perfectly. Why not drive and collect the stuff instead? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  11. I'd rather we spent imaginary money on trident than benefit street. We find plenty for that too. Not sure on figures but is trident supposed to be £30 billion? To last 30 years? If so it's a drop in an ocean compared to the welfare state. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  12. The trend may we'll be going up but have they proved it would not have happened anyway? I should add that I'm not against renewable energy etc and we could well be adding to the problem by burning stuff but are we to blame for all of it? I'm not convinced if I'm honest. 13. What's also interesting is that the met office spends millions of pounds and has people with hundreds of years worth of experience between them yet they still can't tell me what tomorrow's weather is going to be with much certainty[emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  14. If the timescales are vast how can we have ruined it in such a short timeframe? That's what does not add up to me. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  15. No I'm saying they they want and will get in most cases the big profits regardless. If people are out of work we end up picking all the slack up not just topping it up. Is it right no it's not but how do you suggest it's changed. Corybn isn't the answer in my opinion. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  16. I said the same thing a few pages back. All the rise will do is make inflation rise too. It's got to be better that people are in work so the government(us) only have to top them up rather than pay for everything? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  17. It's quite simple businesses are going to either cut staff or cut hours if they are forced to pay higher rates. Either that or put prices up putting inflation up making the higher rate pointless as they will be no better off than before. Not saying I agree with it but in the real world it's what is going to happen Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  18. Better than being out of work completely though surely? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  19. I was talking about from £10 to £12.50 being 25% But either way it's too big a jump and means that everyone currently on for example £10 an hour wants £13.30 so that they have the benefit of the same rise. In theory it could also push a small business into VAT threshold which would then add another 20% to the bill for the consumer that can't reclaim Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  20. If everything else went up to pay this new minimum wage except your business you would either start losing money or go broke. People on minimum wage now are no better off than when it first came in. It's still not really enough but prices have a tendency to move to what people can afford (or not as the case may be) In my opinion a higher minimum will simply have the effect of raising prices across the board. Maybe that's what labour want so that the debt becomes less through inflation? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  21. That's all fine but what happens when everything goes up by 25%? Do you then pay £12.50 an hour? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  22. Ok fair enough not looked at mutleys post. I still can't work out why people care how much anyone else earns? It's not relevant in my opinion as each of us should be self sufficient as much as possible. Paying our bit and living out our lives. For the most part I could not care less what they bicker about in parliament! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  23. Have you been out in the sun too long today? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  24. If corbyns/labours followers spent more time working they would be better off and could stop worrying about how much money mr banker, businessman etc gets paid Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  25. That does not make corybn the right choice by default though Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
