  1. Being a complete idiot in regards to this, would the tree not have gone in the right direction if the line was kept tight or could it still have gone the wrong way?
  2. http://www.michelin.co.uk/tyres/michelin-latitude-cross I’ve had these on a for months now and seem quite good all round, though I don’t go off road much just muddy tracks
  3. Makes you wonder what else they didn’t bother to do! Out of interest why 40 miles to get some adblue?
  4. It does seem like a fussy machine on air filters as the filter looked quite clean. Probably only done 6 months on it as it was changed in winter service last year
  5. Try taking air filter off. Mine did the same a bit back but as soon as I took it off it was ok. So a new filter sorted it
  6. Starting to snow quite slow start but supposed to dump a load down later this morning
  7. That’s fine if you have plenty of kit with spares to fall back on. If you don’t I would think newer machines would be better, though new or old can break as you say
  8. Thanks a good explanation there! Much better than calling people clueless when, yes I don’t know loads about it but I have read about all these thefts!
  9. Plenty of proof out there that they can be stolen why lie to people?
  10. https://gizmodo.com/the-6-biggest-bitcoin-heists-in-history-1531881137
  11. And you seem to think you are some kind of god. you do realise that these “ “coins”have been stolen don’t you or are all these thefts of coins just made up to put people off?
  12. So to sum up http:// http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5154737/Bitcoin-miner-NiceHash-reports-hack-theft-wallet.html This from 6 hours ago. I know it’s the mail but first hit on google after typing 2 words “Bitcoin theft!” You live in that bubble where they can’t be stolen. All that said I do quite like the idea as I said before but people like you will help people lose money.
  13. In some respects it’s the same as the big investment firms do. They speculate and buy and sell numbers in computers. That being said they would end up with something tangible not just computer code should it drop like a stone. They would still have lost lots of cash though.
  14. What the west should do is keep out of it and let them blow each other up if they think that’s the best way forward!
  15. Matelot can’t see that. Trumps his hero:)
  16. It’s not about what the senate voted for. If it was a good idea it would have been moved at the time. It’s (for me anyway) a bloody stupid idea to be pouring petrol on a smouldering fire.
  17. You make that sound like a good thing! Has the last 30 years proved that getting involved with any of the regimes over doesn’t turn out well?
  18. He’s gone too far this time I think. This is the last thing the world needs at the moment with North Korea on a suicide mission at the minute.
  19. I quite like the idea of putting a bit into something that’s not took off yet as a punt. Or even put a bit into a few of the “newer” ones and see what happens. I think that bitcoin has made its big gains (at least in the short term) but it may be worth a go at getting in at the bottom of one of the others? Who knows
  20. As others have said put money you can afford to lose in, or in your case you got given some which is good. as a long term thing I can’t see it but that’s me. The thefts that have happened are real and cost a lot of people a lot of money. That’s a simple fact.if the banks and governments got behind it and introduced some insurance type scheme then all the better. I’m all for these new things as eventually something that works well will happen because of it, it’s just not for me
  21. That all means f all if the exchange where they are kept gets hacked and they are stolen from there!
  22. The problem for me is that they claim is not hack able yet 2 minutes search proves otherwise. It might not be possible to hack the actual system of creating them (though not sure I believe that either) but it is very possible to steal the completed bit coins from the exchanges. That puts me off completely!
  23. Until they change the protocol and allow more to be made! It’s numbers in computers nothing is impossible in that sense. There will be more or something else as these huge server farms that mine them will need to be used for something. Too much money invested for it to just stop. That’s just my opinion though
  24. I’d agree it’s all about timing! The tories came in with no money left to pick up the pieces (again!) and cop the blame for cutting spending to try and balance the books! And before someone shouts about the tories being rubbish I agree with that too! But I’ll take them over corbyn and his cronies!
