I work in Germany a fair bit and have noticed there loyalty to there own country's machines eg vehicles cranes chainsaws and other arb stuff but when it comes to chippers not so much you dont see any wear near as many Jensen or schliesing as you would expect I asked the guy I worked for and he said schliesing are hard to do maintenance on and he just wasn't a fan of Jensen he has vermeer chippers and most of the other big firms around him hand same or bandit I have used all chippers pretty much both here and in the states and if u want a big get a American one they just do it right and it will last

  13. In 18 years of contract climbing I have never turned up to a job and refused to climb the tree or trees I have turned up and changed the plan of works possibly felling or the tree cant be rigged cos of it been dead for so long or possibly said we need some sort of hydrolic assistance crane such like ! I have always since I first wanted to climb never wanted to be the man that says no I wanted to be a problem solver not a problem creator that's my view on why I'm there to solve getting that tree or trees down as efficiently and safely as possible I have a couple of times had to think of the sherbrook dead tree video above the sky walk as a bit motivation if Graham can do that I can certainly get my arse up some poxy 80ft dead tree in England ?

  15. I relate to this 100% Is there any solution than just been up a tree every day ? I've had the day off today instead of enjoying the day I just cant help feeling if I was working I'd be in a better mood
