I was actually only trying to show the madness of having to leave a 3 meter stump when the tree was down to be felled at ground level customer told the contractor the night before! Thanks for constructive comments enjoy ur Christmas

  5. Well I cant believe I missed all this exiting talk about been a removal specialist! Many points that have been made are true some not I have made my living and not a shabby one doing big tree removals for years I now run my own but sub some times ! It all comes down experience productivity and contacts! Everyone can take a big tree down but how efficiently do they do I have seen some pruning experts [emoji849] take trees down and yes they can squirrel around at lightning speed but there rigging vision and knowledge on what anchor are able to hold big weight is often lacking to much cut and hold does no body any good ! Not only the climbing aspect planning the tree wear machines should can it be felled using precision cuts can a large top taken I could on and on but I think allot of tree men especially in the uk think there way is only way and cos they got the job done in the end that's all the matters ! I am buy no means saying I am great at all am just a fat lad from York but i have cut allot of trees down all over the uk Europe and usa
  6. Mark 2 550 is a lovely saw I have one definitely better than the mark 1
  7. Yea mick wasnt nicest place to be the wind was very gusty at times while I was cutting that's why I was steady with the back just watching what the tree was doing and cutting wen the wind was in my favour
  8. Dead beech today customer wanted a 3 meter stump to be carved later
  9. I have had a 572xp over 2 years hasn't missed a beat! like out in the woods said 5001 lovely saw but just doesn't have the feel of quality like the the 572
  10. True the muffs falling off drives me round the fkn bend [emoji23]
  11. Funny I couldn't disagree more with u mate I've found them more robust buy a country mile then any flimsy shit petzl the visors on all other helmets are nothing but a joke constantly needing to be replaced ! I dont get the hole power ranger thing either to be honest I just think they look professional and made for the job but that is only my opinion and everyone else is entitled to theirs [emoji4]
  12. They are a far superior helmet to any other I have had 2 and the original still has its visor it came with have changed the muffs but compared with other brands they are so robust and user friendly once set up correctly for ur head !
  13. Final day in stockport more rain but we had done the hard word rigging the side over road yesterday afternoon as it dark making use of the dry couple of hrs we got so got on sight this morning and got it down !
