  1. I have had a monkey beaver saddle for over a year now absolutely love it had 4 tree motions before that but would never go back!
  2. Nice work love rigging from mewp it's so effortless so many people want to cut and hold everything can never understand it [emoji849]
  3. Allot of very good advice here ! I unfortunately come across this kind of behaviour and far worse often as I spend 99 percent of my time taking trees out of a urban environment people's perception of our profession and their entitlement to offer there views on things that do not concern them in any way will never cease to amaze me I've hadl police called to 3 sights lost count of the amount of times people have rang the council never once have any of these phone calls been warranted all work above board and has been explained to whomever had the issue! I honestly think trees bring some sort of deranged sence of entitlement to decide what other people are do with there properly! I used to get angry and let it spoil the day or job now I just calmly explain what is going to happen and that nothing they say or video is going to change that just make sure u are in the right before actually doing whatever work ur doing never take a client's word as the truth!
  4. Ash trees over a little substation this morning the last one was crying out to be felled so stuck a but tie on and sent her down the hill ?

  8. Hi mate I have climbed on 11.7 for years and not had any problems 11.6 definitely runs slightly better through the device! I almost always climb wearing pfanner reds which help with grip I also spend nearly all my time doing take downs which means am on spikes which am sure makes me less aware of grip problems because I tend to climb the tree not the rope I really do rate the petzle rope though definitely one of the best ropes for zigzag
  9. You to mate yea it is a little rocket I have a nostalgic attachment to it [emoji4]

  15. Cant beat a good early start mate get cracked on and like u say if u want to do more and more money offered sound if there gunner treat u like a employee then that wasnt for me unfortunately people don't respect what effort it takes to complete jobs faster its not just hard work it's what u have to of done befor that day to gain that experience to be able to do it faster than there employee if they could of done it u wouldn't be there
  16. Unfortunately skill sets are not recognized wen it comes to payment time with some people! They are keen enough to blow smoke to get you there but once the tree or trees are completed especially if in a timely fashion those types have some strange logic that there chipper made the job fast or the weather was with us today or that was really lucky u could fell that big top [emoji849] it never stopped surprising me the absolute shit that people would come with instead of just saying thanks for your knowledge here is ur money get urself off home
  17. My thoughts exactly I really rate the 462 and like using the 5001 in the tree its great so light really good pick up not sure about its longevity and robustness but time will tell stihl have definitely upped there game massively with these two saws
