  1. To be fair, I'm 25 and never use the chainbrake either. Just don't touch the sharp bits and you'll be fine 👍😄
  2. Yeah I know stubby, these hadn't been touched by the boys though. What do the use to put them on in the factory?
  3. A couple o boys at my work had a whole heap of problems with their 560s too after a few months. Seizures, bearings and even 2 clutches shearing right off the crank shaft. 👎
  4. Better get a 5lb plunger to get rid of it too.
  5. I had an Oregon axe. 7lb and perfectly shaped shank for my oversized paws. Knackered it knocking wedges in when I lost my felling hammer out the skidder
  6. The clutch has started slipping now though. Time for some maintenance.
  7. Aye, we've got one of those too. For a husky it's a great saw It came in the wooden army box too.
  8. Water, water and more water.....
  9. I've got a few saws in the shed that I intend to rebuild when I've got the money. All stihls, 361,044 and a 440. Will probably do the 440 first.
  10. E could just gee him a kick in the plums
  11. Disagree.... Kind of. My 362cm beats the old 362 easily but my 361 beats them both hands down, without a doubt.
  12. Aye I'm not too fussed about it being a few minutes quicker by the end of the day. Just want to see what it's like really.
  13. Quality, I'm gonna have to get mines done at some point. I'll clip the heels on one of my chains over the silly season too if I get the chance.
  14. Yeah I'm always 3/8 full chisel. Interesting
  15. When you say "removing the heel of the tooth" what do you mean? I always take my rakers down more than is advised and enlarge the gut of the tooth but that's a new one to me. Cheers
  16. 441 is an ace saw. Springs are a bit soft though. Probably seems worse because my 440 had rubbers and it was solid.
  17. I always use a 16 on my 362. They can go up to 20 though. I don't think they're heavy at all.
  18. I have my rakers right down for everything I cut. Can be a pain when boring big trees bit only sometimes. Just hold on tight n off you go! 👍😁
