  1. Ace looking saw..... I'm not jealous at all.. ... Promise
  2. Aye, what he said. Kickbacks are bad for the tensioning bolts and pins. Broke quite a few on my stihls but that's probably because I'm impatient and always take my rakers too far down.
  3. Hi... I know you said under £ 500 but I got my stihl 362 in May for £595. It's got loads of grunt for felling. I felled some monster Douglas and sitka with it a few weeks ago.
  4. Getting new diaphragms in mine. Failing that, New carb. Grim!
  5. Mines is back at the dealers. I'll let you know what happens.
  6. Mines is exactly the same. All my dealer did was replace the plug. It's flooding itself too. I have no idea what's wrong with it. It's the m-tronic version spud.
  7. I bought my 200t off a workmate that was giving up climbing. Got it for 50 quid. Absolute bargain
  8. 👍 nice one.... Thanks very much
  9. Thanks everyone. Just wondering because my 362c came back from the dealers with a 6 plug in. Didn't make any difference, still idles like a bag of poop
  10. Excuse my ignorance and possible stupidity but what's the difference, if any, between the bpmr6a and the bpmr7a plugs? Lol cheers
  11. It depends on the hardwood. Beech and hornbeam I don't take as much off the rakers but sycamore, ash etc the I just treat it like softwood. Hold on tight and off you go 😁👍
  12. I always take my rakers down and give the teeth a rub before starting to cut with a new chain. For me new chains don't bite or cut well enough.
  13. 👍👌 I cut all day 5 or 6 days a week. Usually sharpen twice a day, sometimes more and a file normally lasts at least a week for me.
  14. Had everything set up to drill my exhaust on the 200t and pop, off came the bolt head 😖
  15. I've still got my 361 it's lying in bits in the shed along with an old 440 as well. I believe it got had an air leak somewhere, it was racing on like a greyhound. Another baby due in a month so I can't really afford to buy all the stuff just now
  16. I've got an m-tronic 362 now. Had it for a couple of months but it's back at the dealers already.... Got pretty annoying idling issues. I had my 361 for 5 years hard work in the woods before it died and I loved it, gutted they stopped making them. A couple guys at work had 560s and they were nothing but hassle. Bearings falling to bits, crank case split and twice the clutch sheared right off the shaft. 😨
  17. That's what I was thinking. Especially as they've got a rear handle/fuel tank assembly for 45 quid hahaha
  18. What's your thoughts on this? Worth the gamble for a backup?
  19. I'm with rover and c.j on this. Just makes more sense.
