  1. How bout you buy a 550 and give me the stihl 😉
  2. Wyk...... I want that saw! It's my birthday soon 😁😁
  3. Do you just nip the ends off the long teeth with your adjustables?
  4. Haha, true. It helps the temper a bit though
  5. Wee woodcutters trick for you 😉 dunno why it works but it does. Good to see someone is taking my advice 😂 👍
  6. Aye, I hate new chains stubby. First thing I do when I put one on is take the rakers down and sharpen it.
  7. Usually if it isn't too much of a difference then I'll go down to the smallest size. If there's a big difference in size between the smallest and largest tooth then I do it gradually.
  8. I always use a 16" on my stihl 362. It's a 60cc though...
  9. That definitely merits a new handbag this weekend spud
  10. I usually just give the case a kick when that happens. Normally works 😁
  11. I wholeheartedly agree 👌👍
  12. Haha, I've done it for the last seven years. I feel like an old man now that's for sure
  13. Every seventh or so. Hard to tell. It's for a forwarder so it's getting racked straight up n down but the rows have been planted diagonally across the hill.
  14. Update..... My saw is going back in again!!! Still stalling, floods itself and only starts up again if you hold the throttle open. It's getting a new carb, new ignition system and a new electronic throttle system. Or something like that
  15. Aye you're probably right there. I've just finished my rack so it's dinner time 😁😁
  16. Exactly the same as me. Imagine if you're running as fast as you can and stop suddenly on the spot, think of the strain that will put on your ankles, knees and hips. It works the same way with a saw.
  17. Chain brake got knocked on when I was snedding a big hairy Sitka earlier..... Annoyed the poop out of me 😠
  18. You could at least have put an Oregon bar on it 😏
  19. Sacrilege doing that to a stihl 😭😱😖
  20. Looks decent if you're not climbing a lot. Might get one and see. They've got a 58CC for 70 quid too haha.
  21. Not ideal when it puts too much strain on the gubbins inside your saw.
  22. Hahaha, nah some of the Orange gremlins are ok. 372s and 395s are good. I agree with you about the helmet though. I've got a petzl.
