  1. What is it they say about hindsight again? Haha
  2. I once removed and stripped the carb from my 361 on the coffee table. Forgot to drain the fuel tank first though. Unfortunately I wasn't living alone and the big petrol stain on the carpet didn't go down very well. Not at all well to be honest 🙈
  3. Yeah I was thinking just take the baffle out and richen it a bit
  4. Surely if it's just the baffles that are knackered then it's not that big a deal? Just louder?
  5. Saw this on the dealers today 12 quid for a litre. Has anyone heard of or used it before? I read on the back that it stops petrol going stale for up to a year
  6. Aye it was. I asked about the one I'd been using but it was a brand spanker too so it wouldn't have been much cheaper. The price they gave me for the 80cc echo was 540 + VAT so I'm thinking about getting that.
  7. I just asked what the chances were and they phoned the rep there and then.
  8. Hahaha I'm waiting on him biting 😂😂😂
  9. Buried the saw in a blown beech this morning and jeez it was excellent. Never bogged down or missed a beat once. Can't say enough good things about this saw.
  10. You're bang on about the mid range torque Geoff. I've got some hardwood windblow tomorrow so that'll be a good test
  11. Just my local echo dealer bud. Less my discount.
  12. Oh it's a 60 cc for folk that were wondering
  13. I prefer it tbh but I've never liked or had a 560
  14. Haha they know I'm a full time cutter. Worth a punt though 😄
  15. Got this out on demo for a few days to see how it coped. VERY impressed. Fired it into something first thinnings Sitka this morning and second thinning this afternoon and it handled everything beautifully. It came with a 20" bar on and I have to admit that it cut just as well, if not better than my stihl 362c on a 16". I had to tweak the carb after the first fill because throttle response was poor and then it was running lean but after that it was excellent. The only fault I found with it was the petrol cap tightened up too much when cutting and needed a plug key to get it off. At 420 plus VAT and a 2 year warranty I reckon I've found my next saw 😁
  16. Get the boots, forget the gloves. The gloves are a waste of money and are slippy as snake cack when it's wet.
  17. Hahaha, I'll tell the kids they're not allowed any changes of clothes
  18. I reckon I'll give the postage from New Zealand to Scotland a miss haha
  19. I wish I'd bought another 361 before they stopped them
  20. Cut and burned rhodies for a couple of months in the summer. Sick of the sight of them. I used my ms362 and my 200t for them. They coped well.
  21. Very nice wyk. I really should get round to rebuilding my 361, I loved that saw.
