  1. I hate new chains. They don't cut worth a damn. I always give a new chain a sharpen and give each raker 3 rubs. I use my chains right down to the line too and by that point the rakers are non existent
  2. No they should be the same. Is it a pain in the hoop when doing the back cut in particular? Like its awkward to cut?
  3. Should I wait till my warranty is up? Or go for it now?
  4. Just make sure when you muffler mod that it doesn't end up eating away at a brake handle or sumfin. There's loads of room under the bonnet of a 241 for the muffler, thus the big ole hole. Yeah I was just gonna drill out the existing hole to make it bigger. There's no baffles in the muffler or anything, just a hollow can. Is the 241 the same?
  5. Nah, it's the m-tronic version spud. I've only had it 6 months and it's already had a new carb in it. The "c" doesn't make sense to me either.
  6. Ace, I was just gonna start a new thread asking about a muffler mod on the 362c. I didn't know how the carb would handle it.
  7. Gotta shove down and in with the file man. Down and in.
  8. Top notch presentation. All you need now is a big blackboard, a slideshow and a big pointy stick 👍👌👏
  9. I suppose they are good, it's just that I had a 440 before the 441 and I much preferred it. Felt rock solid in comparison 👍
  10. Mines does it too pal. I'm going with design flaw. The springs are soft as poop on the 441 too.
  11. I always put mine back on dry.
  12. My m-tronic 362 had to go back to the dealers to get a new carb. It was doing the same, cutting out on idle and flooding. Cut out 10 times trying to sned out one tree. No good when you're a production cutter.

Handbags at the ready...... There's going ti be bonnets on the green 😂😂
  15. Hi Rob D could you message me prices for a 16" 3/8 sugihara please? I can get a stihl bar for 30+vat from my dealer. Just wanted to know if it was worth getting because I quite fancy one! Cheers 👍
  16. Yeah I wouldn't bother cleaning them either.
  17. Oops...... That was referring to swinny's 361
  18. Belter of a saw. Mines lasted 5 years and I'm a production cutter 👍
  19. It's not the actual bush itself, it's the mount that it goes on. If that breaks then it's at least £90 for the new rear handle. And that's if you fix it yourself. I used mine for a couple of years before I fixed it, just slapped some silicone into it 😳
  20. Been there, done that...... Bummer!
  21. I've used their site through eBay and I reckon it's pretty good
  22. I'm not too sure tbh. I think it was bought at an auction maybe? Good saw for its age though. The army hadn't used it at all when we got it
  23. We've got a 28 on ours but I wouldn't like to go bigger. That's about its limit I reckon. Ours is green cos it's ex army.
  24. 50 quid for a 16" sugi bar, crazy. Never tried one, I've always used stihl bars. I know where next month's pocket money is going 😁😁
