  4. we're still getting letters offering us free biomass boilers. I reckon they just drive around looking for oil tanks or use records to figure out who's off grid like us. feel like letting one of these crowd run through the hoops again just to see if anything changed. anyone had any recent exprience or are they all sharks..?
  5. :lol: I have had 2x 2.0L versions neither missed a beat so this should be spot on. There getting more popular round here now as i presume folk get fed up of the tractor like ride of most pickup's.

  10. Awesome! we've just spotted our first otter in the brook behind us, been told they were there but never seen them. like you say they silent Ive waited many a time with my camera to no avail. well done!
  11. Aerial battles are ace i was watching a Buzzard scrapping with two crows last night with our lads. Impressive stuff.

  16. wondered that but dont know if anyone else has noticed that they seem to be loads more common in northern Europe generally? just genuinely intrigued. Like Eddie said they make a lot of sense.
  17. Interesting Eddie, Ive traveled in Sweden quite extensively and noticed that every machine over there seems to be fitted with them! Often wondered why they not as common over here.
  18. my current rideon mower has an issue...involving a lack of oil and some subsequent interesting noises etc...:blushing: ive been offered a Viking T5 5097Z, its in good nick only 3 years old. anyone used one or any comments? seems OK for a grand and with 3 month warranty.
  19. had to use my makita one a while back to clean up an old war memorial in middle of nowhere. just took an old water butt and connected hose to outlet tap, worked a treat. IBC sat up on a few pallets to give you a bit of a head,would do you even better.
