It is characterised... @Treadlight Forestry. He's a top bloke as well .๐Ÿ‘
  3. What he said...Ive used this saw in the woods. Heck its quick and lovely and light. had 661,461,500i also but this was my go to that day.๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š Power to weight ratio was stunning.

  12. I'd say the Frontier is better packaged....but I may be biased ๐Ÿ˜†
  13. Enjoy! You'll definitely need that forklift/telehandler and a 2m sling and 2 shackles to get it set up๐Ÿ˜ Take your time, make sure you've got an impact wrench there's a lot of bolts! Andy at frontier couldn't be more helpfull of you have any queries.๐Ÿ˜Ž Look forward to seeing it in action.

you've just got delicate ears..๐Ÿ˜€ I'll agree you need big muffs with barkbox milling remember up in the hills the other week? shut my 661 with bark box off and heard the echo about 2 seconds later!๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘Œ
  17. OK i'll bear that in mind. did you have hassle getting stuff for a Robinson R44 as well? as i'll be grabbing one of them as well when i win.
  18. ausa t144h new 2020 telehandler forklift, prins, agrimac, jcb 515 520, avant | PJ Forktrucks LTD WWW.PJFORKTRUCKS.COM Here for sale is a fanatastic piece of kit!The much sought after Ausa T144H 4x4Year - 2020Hours - brand new1350kg rated... this be a lottery win option for me.
  19. Not much vibrating with 300kg of oak on there! Surprised how smooth or is tbf. Yup little electric winch is perfect .I'm using my big 6t recovery one on a plate but it's a bit heavy. A 1t be fine.
  20. Along comes Doob making us jealous of the multione!๐Ÿ™ƒ Multione etc would make life so easy ๐Ÿ‘Œ Yup I just fork the bed on and then lower the head unit on and away you go. I move the head to over the axles and lock in place between the bunks. Tows great.
  21. That was exactly my train of thought (thats my frontier above btw). I went for the 27" and the Briggs and the extra inch over the woodland equivalent swayed me but they look very similar machines, if it means much i don't know but the norwood background also pushed me to the frontier. Regards setup, ATM i'm literally just sitting it straight on the ifor 14ft, had in mind to build a steel frame but been surprised how sturdy the base was so i just forklift it on and off. Ive made some legs that drop in the headboard mounts sockets for levelling but not used them, found jockey wheel stable enough and leave it hooked up to truck. For me having the 14ft trailer as well has been brilliant, currently extracting a load of gun straight windblown oak saw logs back to my "yard" with it. I actually find the height pretty nice to work at , just making another winch mount for my electric winch to help parbuckling the bigger stuff onto it. warning...its infectious.๐Ÿ˜€
  22. Awesome looking forward to seeing the progress of this ๐Ÿ‘Œ
  23. i was a bit out on my oil calcs๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ i got fuel at 1.90 which it is here atm . no one in their right mind uses E10 surely for a saw ? my point was the gap is narrowing and good luck getting fuel once extinction rebellion start blockading..๐Ÿคฌ๐Ÿคฌ
  24. Same here, no issues at all. Guy at my local dealer claims his GF worked at some place that made motormix and it's based on aspen but not as good ๐Ÿคท I was working out the other day .. Aspen is ยฃ3.76 a litre Inc vat for 25L Normal crap E10 and HP super in the 1Ls is approx ยฃ2.76 at current prices. Factor in E5 or one shots and normal fuel is more exspensive so..๐Ÿคท Handy having a 25L sat there atm any way when all the idiots take a run at the pumps again.
  25. Think you'll like it Eddy๐Ÿ‘ what engine? You'll not loose out if it turns up soon...utter madness in resale value Seeing a few dragging ifors round here now. Go for a height adjustable fixed tow ball if you can. I made the mistake of not doing. Regards poser trucks etc etc blah blah...this was said about Disco 1,2,3,4 and 5s... And yet look now....๐Ÿคท
