  1. I would say it can save 2hrs a day never mind a week! The amount of time it saves when chipping out a lump of concrete. Now I can just put the claw on it pull it out clean with out an hand vibration smashing or breaking it and so much quicker. Granted a heavy duty engine hoist could probably pull a post out, I think the main difference is this is designed to support the post as it comes out, then tip it back and wheel it around to where you want it. I would imagine there's not many engine hoists which would be a pleasure to push over rough ground. There's only two physically hard things with fencing. Getting the old posts out and digging the new ones in and this bit of kit can make it effortless which can only be a good thing!
  2. P.s. Hasn't seemed to pull in to soft ground yet
  3. Got it from post puller uk. Mega expensive at 2k + vat, however like most things you get what you pay for. It's extremely well built and the claw is bombers. Will be worth it in the long run with the effort it will save!
  4. Have been trying out my new post puller. It's awesome for pulling posts with concrete attached or if they snap off getting the concrete out the ground!
  5. Thanks for the advice Spud. Have put it back on with a little grinding paste and is back up and running! Lesson Learnt! 🙈

  7. Today I decided to change the needle bearing on my MS201. It turns out I tried to impact drive the clutch the wrong way and snapped the key on the fly wheel! 😢 Does anyone have a spare flywheel they want to sell?
  8. We use a 260 with a 16" bar as a general ground saw and it's perfect!
  9. I've had my Predator Rx28 for over 6months now and it has been an amazing bit of kit. In my experience the realisability issues have been sorted now.
  10. Think there's 3 types: Flail mulcher - mainly light duty scrub clearance etc Fixed tooth - Will eat through anything speed depends on power however if you find scaffold poles or concrete 🙈 Knock Back tooth - Will also eat everything just if you hit something horrible the tooth knocks back in side the pocket to protect it.
  11. Maybe we value our lives more than the glory of tree climbing! Lol
