  1. I don't want to sound "racist", but does anyone think that accepting migrants from a country with a 37.8% literacy rate is a good thing? I just don't see how migrants from the likes of Somalia will contribute to the UK.... Effective Literacy Programmes › Somali Distance Education and Literacy
  2. “secondly, as i suggested in my original post you could read about post war immigration into the UK to fill the enormous void in the labour market which was actively encouraged. this should help you to see atleast some benefits of immigration.” Yeah, everyone knows that after WW2 that many Indians/ Pakistanis went to Bradford etc to work in the textile industry. Did the migration help the textile industry long term? Would you want to stay in Bradford? Does Britain need more workers now? "i'd love it if you could stop making huge generalisations about ethnic groups, like the plumber you mention. seriously wtf? that plumber does in no way represent that nations workforce's ability than you or anyone else does for british workers" OK, I worked on a construction site in the Middle East with several hundred workers from the sub-continent. My mate was a Project Manager on a construction site with about 500 workers from the subcontinent. The plumber was fairly representative of their skill set… If you want I can find you the literacy rates for Pakistan/ India etc? "clearly we are both pretty set in our ways and stubborn, and i will admit you would have a pretty hard time convincing me of your opinions on immigration" Well how about this for the first fact: “Unemployment among ethnic minorities costs the economy almost £8.6 billion a year in benefits and lost revenue from taxes. Half of Muslim men and three quarters of Muslim women are unemployed.” It’s from the Equality and Human Rights Commission….. Well done for managing to use the word “racist”. That word has done more than any other to shut debate down.
  3. to be fair the immigrant populations don't really do themselves many favours.... cutting someone's head off on a street in London doesn't really make many friends.... perhaps you could name some of the benefits that migration brings? you might make me change my mind on the wisdom of migration...
  4. some more child rape and terrorism you mean?
  5. I've worked with third world labour and tbh their skill set is unbelievable bad. We had an Indian plumber install a toilet in a portacabin, the U bend was outside and about 4 foot above the toilet bowl..... An Iraqi we had checked the acid levels in batteries by dipping his finger in.... when someone said "wtf, that's acid!" he said "no, no mister, that's water". He thought since you topped the batteries up with water it was water inside... Lol, I also heard about an Iraqi Marine that was told to clean his gun... he put it in a washing machine....
  6. What do you grow on your farm? Is there a demand for rental property in your area? perhaps let someone pitch a caravan in your yard? Do you have stables? Allow some horsey types to keep their horse at your farm? Storage? Caravan storage? Maybe even see if there's a arb related website and see if any tree surgeons want to store their stuff/ tip waste?
  7. is it any good against cats?
  8. A bit of a result then! I would hold firm.
  9. are you buying 2m high trees? you can buy 60cm high ones for about 50 pence... and you can plant them in a few minutes.
  10. what do you mean 2mt oak trees? a 2m spacing or 2m high? planting 2m high trees would take a lot of work.... if the ground is wet how about digging a pond?
  11. If I had a female groundie the company uniform would involve a tight white T shirt.
  12. planting trees, I've planted about 9,000. I've also got a shotgun and keep tropical fish.
  13. A nice pair of tits.
  14. Egg boxes on the inside? thick shrubs around your cave?
  15. No I was doing a skilled job that quite frankly no local could have done. Lol, I remember the days of having a private beach and a 27 year old hot Polish air hostess girlfriend
  16. Well President Assad has a fairly decent army..... The Middle East also has plenty guns.... I can assure you that many of the migrants aren't even from Syria.... I spent 6 months in Iraq and two years in the Middle East working as an engineer. Perhaps I'm more qualified to comment on these migrants than most here? I've seen some of the migrants give the "one God" ISIS hand signal. Do you not see problems for Europe by letting terrorists in? We continually see that the NHS is under pressure and there are not enough houses etc, will letting in migrants help these problems?
  17. I agree that you don't have an argument...... This migrant crisis will be an absolute disaster for Europe. It's time we left the EU.
  18. So it's OK that ethnic minorities cost Britain £8.6billion because tax avoidance costs Britain more? That's like saying assaulting someone is OK because it's not as bad as murder...... Thanks for the "smilies", it really backed your argument up.
  19. Before anyone starts the "we need them to pay tax" argument: "Unemployment among ethnic minorities costs the economy almost £8.6 billion a year in benefits and lost revenue from taxes. Half of Muslim men and three quarters of Muslim women are unemployed." Britain's coping classes at breaking point - Telegraph My entire life the media have told me that migration is good for me and Britain... tbh, I'm getting fed up being lied to.
  20. That part of the world is a tinderbox. 20 years ago the muslims/ Christians etc were slaughtering each other. Then the EU has the bright idea of forcing Muslim refugees into Christian countries? The Liberals like to say how nasty the likes of UKIP is, however i can see the rise of the extreme right wing... Let's face it, European culture will not exist in 100 years time with the present migration levels....
  21. So in the second world war we should have just ran away from the Nazis? Sorry, but if all those young men don't want to fight for their country they don't deserve to live in Europe. Anyway, I wasn't aware there was a war in all the countries they've passed through? I was going to go to Turkey next year, is that really a war zone? They are just economic migrants... If we let too many of those migrants in we will turn Europe into the same sh1tholes that they have come from. We'll see the Kurds and Turks fighting each other, we'll see the Sunni and Shia Muslims fighting each other and we'll have everyone fighting the ethnic whites.
  22. Great contribution. If you think my post was so stupid perhaps you could explain why? Like it or not, Europeans just don't want millions of migrants from a completely Alain culture in Europe. Previous migration has hardly been a great success...
  23. Yes, have you been watching the news? Everyone in the world wants to live in Europe. If they can't live in peace amongst themselves they won't be able to live in peace with us.... Some of the previous immigrants haven't exactly been an asset to Britain...
  24. The true test of a consumer business is how they react when something goes wrong though. A couple of years back I was feeling peckish and went to "Jimmy's Food Market" and bought myself a pot noodle. I was beside myself with excitement when I got home, unfortunately I never liked the pot noodle and only had half of it. When I went back to "Jimmy's" to complain and ask for a refund the man behind the till was very rude and told me to f*** off. As a result I've never been back.... I would have been happy with a refund of just half as well.
  25. Has anyone changed their mind about the migrant crisis? A lot of the migrants don't do themselves any favours by rioting when they don't get their way.... I have to admit my compassion for them has disappeared. I honestly think taking these people into Europe will be an absolute disaster.
