You can hardly blame Europeans for being against immigration when they see the trouble it brings...

I think we've got to accept that some migrant groups have an ideology that just doesn't fit into the West.... We should start deporting "Brits" that don't share our core values...

So it sounds like we both agree that the EU is handling the migrant crisis woefully.. The EU have had years to get their act together ie return the migrants to Turkey/ Africa and look after them in camps there. So why do you spend so much energy defending the EU?

We had 6 months of Project Fear from the BBC before the referendum. The BBC were proved to be talking rubbish.... How many BBC news articles have we had "selfless EU migrants prop up the NHS with their selfless devotion"? Or "poor hardworking migrants don't know if they have a future in Britain". Has the BBC ever investigated the proportion of Big Issue sellers that are from the EU? Or have they mentioned the number of EU migrants using the NHS? The BBC doesn't even pretend to be impartial. I no longer trust the BBC to present news in an unbiased form....

I have to admit that I'm getting fed up with Nicola Sturgeon whining about a second referendum. The SNP had their chance at independence and they blew it. It's time for her to actually govern for the good of all of Scotland and not waste time on pipe dreams. Home Bargains sell verdo logs. tbh, I'd rather people buy them than imported logs... A ton is £279 and they are made in the UK.

tbh, I think the OP is a genuine frustrated log buyer. Normally when I get bad service from a business I cant be bothered complaining and I just don't go back. However, the OP has taken a fair bit of time to post his concerns about the UK firewood industry. Perhaps his post is an opportunity for log sellers to consider the log industry from the customers perspective....

A lot of the refugees (economic migrants) don't actually think they should be grateful to the Europeans for the help they've received in Europe. They think being allowed into Europe is a gift from Allah and they should thank him instead. 5 years ago you'd have been shot down in flames for saying something as racist as that.... It's good to see public opinion change... 100% correct. It's about time we left the rest of the world to sort their own problems. During WW2 you never had Europeans running away to the Middle East to claim asylum. In WW1 & WW2 you had kids pretend to be men to serve their countries. That looks an amazing garden! I'm well jealous! tbh, if you leave it up I think most people would consider it an eyesore and if you ever sold your house it would detract from the value. If your going to stay in the house "forever" I'd probable pollard it and plant a new one beside it. If your going to move in the future I'd cut it down completely and plant a new one. You could leave the trunk/branches in your back garden as a bug pile?

About 2.6 million cars are sold in the UK each year. The UK only makes about 1.6 million cars a year. That means we have to import a net 1 million cars a year. If we trade under WTO rules it means imported cars become more expensive.... Is that not absolutedly brilliant for British car workers? I'd imagine Nissan are playing the "make vague threats to get grants game".
