I agree there. The quality of intellectual discussion coming from the Guardian journalists is disappointing. Tbh, if my ten year old niece came out with the arguments they used I would be disappointed in her... It did cross my mind that the people commenting on the Guardian website were secret "Daily Mail" types. However the below the line comments are overwhelmingly against the migration... I spend a fair amount of time on the Guardian website as I don't want to suffer "confirmation bias" when I read news articles. When I look at the comments beneath the articles its fairly certain that even Guardian readers are fed up with migration. Political Correctness is an idea that has probable had its day. I think Trump and Brexit are the first political shocks of many.

Well I think Africa will always be a basket case because Africans never seem to get their act together. For instance Zimbabwe has become a disaster since the whites were kicked out... I also think some cultures have medieval attitudes that don't belong in Europe. Or are you happy with honour killings and women being treated as second class citizens? Or maybe you hate gays and think they should be killed? So in your world I would probably be considered a "racist", however I prefer "realist" or even just "honest".

that's a good point. African nations always seem to be having famines etc and begging for help from the developed world. Is it not fair to say that African culture is exceptionally bad at planning and organisation?

Well this newspaper article said that non EU migration cost Britain £120 billion over 17 years... is that a "miniscule" amount? The report excluded a lot of costs that the non European migrants cost the taxpayer.. So in reality the £120billion figure is higher... Yeah, I'm a nationalist. I think the needs of British people should be put ahead of migrants. Every week we watch the news and hear about cutbacks for social care/ NHS crises/ lack of council housing/ overcrowded roads etc. Then we hear that the Government has billions of pounds to give away to migrants. When you actually think about it the main priority of any politician should be to look after the interests of their electorate. Allowing third world migrants into Britain is hardly doing that...

Tbh, I think "Western" culture is the best culture there is... I'm not saying that other cultures don't have things to teach us, but overall europe etc is the best place to live on the planet. The truth is that some cultures have failed and it's only political correctness that stops people admiting it.

When the most Liberal newspaper in the UK admits that sexual assaults (by immigrants) have been hidden for ideological reasons you can be fairly sure there is a problem. So lets look at the evidence: sexual assaults have been hidden in the UK, Germany and Sweden when the perpetrators are migrants.... That's why Trump got elected. The electorate are fed up being lied to.

I think most people here would accept that mainstream media have been caught hiding certain stories once too often... The German state broadcaster officially apologised after hiding the Cologne sexual attacks. It was only social media that brought the attacks to light. remember the Cologne chief of police originally said NYE was "uneventful".... People were warning about the Rotherham sexual abuse for over a decade. Do you think if white men were assaulting Asian kids the media would have been silent for so long? I watch the BBC and I see them repeatedly use the same discredited report that "proves" that migration is good for the UK. I see the BBC repeatedly criticise Trump (other Presidents killed million in Iraq ffs). Do you really think that the BBC is impartial when it publishes stuff like this?

Over the last few decades the media has done its best to shut down debate on certain issues. Mainstream media has shouted “racist” whenever someone has suggested we reduce migration into Britain. Mainstream media ignored widespread sexual abuse of white kids by migrants in places like Rotherham. Mainstream media come out with lies like “not a real Muslim” or “so called Islamic State” when describing Islamic terrorism. Mainstream German media ignored the widespread sexual abuse by migrants in Cologne on NYE. The media can hardly complain about being “shut down” when they plainly have been self-censoring over the last decades.
